In Corinthians Paul also says women should not speak in churches.

You need proper context.

As I remember from my scripture class, women would usually be the only one in the Church congregation. Therefore, it was basically meaning to say nobody should speak in churches.

Nope, I’ve never kissed anyone, not other women, or men, or intersex, or trans, or anyone at all, as a matter of fact, but I am attracted to both men and women. Perhaps you might think it’s disgusting, but that’s okay, you just don’t swing that way. It’s perfectly understandable. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but in many cultures, men often kiss each other. It was and still is acceptable.

As for being attracted to people of the same sex, have you never looked at a man or woman, depending which you are, and thought that he or she was very attractive?

That doesn’t mean you want to hop in the sack with them, just that you found them attractive.

I know many gay men who drool over the images of Elizabeth Taylor and other famous women. They had no intention of bedding them, but beauty is beauty.

Ahhh… I’m not talking about kissing a dear friend, or someone of the family, as Jharek said “…kissing on the cheeks as a sign of warmth or affection…” Yeah, in our culture we do the same, when we meet a dear friend and someone who we love or he is part of the family, we salute him or her and we kiss each others on the cheeks.

What I’m talking about here is that people of the same sex would kiss each others ( i.e. french-kiss) or something… it’s really disgusting specially if they were two men…

It always baffles me how insecure some men are regarding two men showing affection for another; gayness is not a communicable disease! I’m pretty sure no one suddenly had the urge to do naughty things with the same sex just because there was a gay couple at my friend’s graduation party today.
