See John Podesta’s emails about a “Catholic Spring”.They are obviously more qualified than me, but here is my one question to them, where were you during the Obama administration? I didn’t hear boo from the Pope about the abortion policies Obama supported, nor did I hear anything bad about Obama’s policies from this or the other bishops around the country.
Disruption? And these are from the same people who preach peace!?!? We need to unify people under Trump who is doing a good job of appointing pro-life, pro marriage judges among so many good things. His wife said an Our Father in front of a big audience the other day. Trump was on stage with Alvita King, who is a very good pro-life advocate. and gave her a hug giving her props. In an address to the US Regional World Meeting of Popular Movements, Bishop Robert McElroy of San Diego called for disruption.

In many ways Trump is the most anti-Catholic President there has been in a while. Perhaps that is why the Pope and the bishops feel a need to call him out.I’ve been thinking about this as Pope Francis has “called out” President Trump multiple times, which is fine and heck, maybe The Pope and this Bishop are right. They are obviously more qualified than me, but here is my one question to them, where were you during the Obama administration? If you are gonna call out one President then have the fortitude to call out every President.
Or its that some bishops will happily crawl over a pile of dead babies in the hope that somebody will improve the insurance industry. In many ways Trump is the most anti-Catholic President there has been in a while. Perhaps that is why the Pope and the bishops feel a need to call him out.
Trump and the GOP deny a right to health, climate change, the need for income fairness and the rights of immigrants and refugees. Those are life issues and Trump is on the wrong side of them.
Hopefully the Bishop of San Diego will be joined by most US Catholic bishops in opposing the Trump/GOP agenda.
This is a pivot point in history - the Pope is being prophetic in speaking out as is the bishop.
Oh yes, not the guy that broke pretty much every commandment there is, no that guy isn’t anti-Catholic. My friend, I think you need to pray about this, hopefully the Holy Spirit will speak to you…In many ways Trump is the most anti-Catholic President there has been in a while. That is a preposterous claim. Trump and the GOP support equal opportunity, NOT equal outcome like progressives want, and that does NOT equate to denying a right to health or good income.Trump and the GOP deny a right to health, climate change, the need for income fairness and the rights of immigrants and refugees. Those are life issues and Trump is on the wrong side of them.

Obama and HiIary would have kept the socialist communist ball rolling by appointing bad judges and continuing to pound religion while supporting abortion and same sex marriage and gender ideology and killing the family.
That’s million dollar question for everyone who is suddenly concerned about the immigration issue.I’ve been thinking about this as Pope Francis has “called out” President Trump multiple times, which is fine and heck, maybe The Pope and this Bishop are right. There is no Catholic doctrine of climate change. Health care can’t really be considered a right unless you first have the right to life. Income inequality is a fact of life that has existed since the dawn of time and across every culture. It is no worse in the modern west than it was at any other time. Every other pope recognized the right of a nation to protect its heritage and its identity. So no, the GOP and the current president aren’t anti catholic in any sense of the word. If we want to talk about anti catholic we shall Joe look at president Obama who was pushing an agenda that openly contradicted catholic doctrine and dogma. And anyone who disagreed with that agenda wasn’t allowed to participate in society. In many ways Trump is the most anti-Catholic President there has been in a while. Seriously? Please explain Obama suing a group of Nuns to force them to bow to his demand that they fund an activity they say violates their freedom of conscience / religion:In many ways Trump is the most anti-Catholic President there has been in a while. Trump denies a right to health?Trump and the GOP deny a right to health,
Trump may or may not be right on climate change. I won’t defend everything he says.climate change, the need for income fairness and the rights of immigrants and refugees. Those are life issues and Trump is on the wrong side of them.
