Actually, I’d agree with you on that. Not their theology, which is erroneous, and not their clothing, though.

We could learn how to set up faith-building community events and community service programs without depending on the federal government. They are the top of the line on both of those types of activities.

If we could learn to do those things as well as the Mormons with the truths that we have, the Church would be in much better shape, and a lot of people would be staying in the Church, and more would be becoming Catholic.

Probably. Sandals were the normal footwear in those days. Unless people took their shoes off completely in the temple out of respect.

He wasn’t wearing wingtips or cowboy boots.

I try to do my best to not judge anyone on their choice of clothing. I wear sandals almost exclusively in summer months for my footwear. Some people wear jeans, some wear suits.

I just got a pair of “Franciscan” sandals from Italy and I was wondering if it would be appropriate to wear them at Mass? It’s not like I’d wear them just at Mass, but I kind of want to wear them everywhere and I’m at the church pretty often so I’m just wondering if it’s okay.
