And you know I"ll vote for Hillary should she become the nominee, and I think she will. 🙂 I’ll be proud to have her as my president, and not because she’s a woman, because of her accomplishments, which are many.
Which are what? She rode the coattails of her husband into a senatorial seat in New York where she had a lackluster performance. She had a disastrous term as Secretary of State leaving four dead in Libya , leaving that country and the entire Middle Eastern in turmoil, weakened or relations with Ussia and made state secrets available to anyone who knew about a hack a computer . She helped create ISIS by supporting Obama’s ill planned withdrawal of troops from Iraq and helped unleash innumerable terrorist back up on the world by her support of his GITMO policy. She made state secrets available to anybody that knew how to hack a computer .As a presidential candidate she continues to push for the culture of death that so permeates the modern Democrat Party.

Bernie Sanders is an unapologetic 60s hippie who thinks the solution to the worlds problems are higher taxes , more government regulation , making nice to our enemies and oppressing any person or business that makes more money than he feels is proper. But at least he has some integrity.

You still have that pesky little problem of the fact he supports unrestricted taxpayer-funded abortion on demand and homosexual marriage. But what the heck- he support raising taxes on the rich and sticking it to the banks which is far more important supporting than killing children and undermining the sacred institution of marriage.
If one is voting in the democrat primary, his views on abortion are irrelevant, since they are no different than Hillary’s views. The Church has not taught definitively on whether it is immoral to raise taxes on the rich. The sad thing is both parties are in favor of raising taxes on the unborn.

:

A Catholic could vote for either Bernie or Hillary in the Democrat primary as their views on abortion are equally egregious. They could not, however, vote for either of them in the general election

Sadly this will fall on deaf ears. May all members of CAF have a joyous and blessed Easter.

I certainly respect your feelings, but abortion is legal in the US now, so it’s not really a political issue, it’s a religious one. Parents need to teach their children to respect the sanctity of life so they don’t seek an abortion.

I will vote for Hillary or Bernie, whoever wins the nomination, and have already the “okay” of my pastor to do so.

I don’t specifically want people to vote for Bernie, but I don’t want people bullied to vote for Clinton/Trump.

#IsPrimaryOver?
No, the primaries have a long way to go. Wisconsin is next, I believe, and Bernie has a good chance there, though Clinton will probably be stronger in urban areas like Milwaukee metro.

The huge delegate rich states of New York, Pennsylvania, and California have yet to vote.

People really voted for Bernie yesterday! He won by landslide margins. I expected that in Washington and Alaska, but not so much in Hawaii. It’s Obama’s home state, and Obama has tacitly endorsed Hillary, though he hasn’t really come right out and said it. Still, Bernie won 70%/30%.

It would depend on who the alternatives are. Northeastern republicans are often just as pro-abortion as democrats.

I’m in the NE, and I can verify what you say. Agree 100%.

Very cold for me here! LOL I grew up in the south of France, where the temperature rarely dropped below 50 F.even in the bleak mid-winter, which was sunny there. But the NE is gorgeous in the summertime.

voters in WA are technically literate,
They probably expect Hillary will be indicted for what she has done.

Some Sanders supporters say it’s ‘Bernie or Bust’ and they will never vote for Hillary Clinton
Bernie Sanders has dubbed his presidential campaign a “political revolution,” but some of his supporters are rebelling against the very party he is hoping to lead.
A voluble group of die-hard Sanders backers is vowing online that it’s “Bernie or Bust,” saying they will never support his presidential primary opponent — and, at this point, likely Democratic nominee — Hillary Clinton.
Some “Bernie or Bust” stalwarts say they won’t back Clinton even if Sanders joins her ticket.

Your pastor does not have the Authority to tell you to disobey church teachings. As we have pointed out in numerous threads in this forum a Catholic simply cannot vote for poor pro abortion candidate Unless their opponent is more pro abortion than they are. We have posted direct quote from pope’s, Cardinals, Vatican documents, church fathers, etc. and all we get in Return is “my Priest told me it was ok”

I believe that it is a sin to vote for Bernie because he supports socialism. The Catholic Church has condemned socialism many times. Socialism is a materialistic ideology that is not compatible with Christianity. Our Lady of Fatima also warned against the socialist ideology when she said that Russia would spread her errors throughout the world. She asked for the conversion of Russia. Russia converted and is now a Christian conservative nation today. We do not want socialism in America.

👍👍👍 well said!

LOL! I wonder how Hillary is feeling today after her defeats yesterday?

I can’t believe the margin Sanders got in Hawaii!
It will be interesting to see how he does in New York and California.

I question that too - that a priest would give someone the greenlight to vote for candidates who are pro-abortion like Hillary.

.
Could you clarify this statement for me? Are you suggesting that, once something is made lawful, it ceases to be a political issue?
It seems to me that such an argument could be used to justify eliding anything form slavery to genocide from the realm of political debate and action, so long as it is state approved.
Perhaps I am misunderstanding your argument?

Since Hillary told her supporters to count on Sanders doing GREAT yesterday, I imagine she feels confident that her campaign has good solid information when it comes to predicting wins, losses and ties in the primaries/caucuses.

You are correct that California and New York are important states to Sanders and Clinton!
