Of course, Sanders and Clinton are wrong on the abortion issue. But if Trump or Kasich were to be elected, do you think that abortions would stop? I guess it is possible. Yes, Hillary is the worst on the abortion question. She says she is passionate about a woman’s right to murder her unborn child, right up to birth, and she says that religious beliefs must change. I believe that if she were to be elected, abortion rights would be expanded. But if you want to know why Sanders has so much support, I think it is the economic issues which he is addressing. People with a college education are not finding it easy to land a job, other than a temporary 1099 job.
IMHO. what America needs is a multiparty system, or at least a third party which is pro-life and pro-American worker.

As you noted, the median salary is $80k. They aren’t employing people for slave wages.
And the number you quoted is actually cherry-picked info. Most of that is stock awards that will vest over several years. But according to SEC regulations, it all has to be expensed in one year instead of over 6 years. Divide that number by six to figure his actual salary.

I think the envy accusation is overused. For example, I think that physicians are overpaid because occupational licensing artificially drives up their wages. Does that mean that I am envious of physicians? Of course not. Yet it does not stop some people from making the accusation.How do you know it’s envy? Free college is not the answer. How about working hard, earning scholarships, and not majoring in women’s studies or something that had no actual potential job? Or we need to encourage trade schools. Sanders does not understand economics. The money to pay for “free” college had to come from somewhere and that means higher taxes.

College tuition is free in many public colleges in Germany, Finland, France, Norway, Slovenia, Sweden, Brazil. Do you think that Germany, Finland, France, Norway, Slovenia, Sweden do not understand economics? If Germany does not understand economics, how come US News and World Report ranks the German economy as number ONE in the entire world? Many people view Germany as the best country for fostering entrepreneurship, and rank it high for its quality of life.

Sanders supporters are the participation trophy generation (my generation) come home to roost. Being told we were all special snowflakes has caused millenials to declare anything they want a human right that must come at another’s expense. Mark Twain refutes Bernie fans in two sentences: “the world does not owe you a living. It was here first”.
The fact that Bernie is a “democratic” socialist does not make the implications of his socialism any less pernicious. The endgame of socialism is, under the pretense of “equality”, to ensure everyone is the serf of the government and to eliminate private property and independent thought.
A lot of people say we need “democratic socialism” because “so much wealth is controlled by the elite few”. So, the solution, according to them, is there give all the wealth and means of producton to an elite few?
The State exists for people, not people for the State. Unfortunately, that notion quickly runs away.
The most dangerous thing about Bernie Sanders supporters is that they blindly and unquestioningly believe the oldest lie in history: that politicians have the everyman’s best interests at heart. The worst job of any man is to lord it over others; not one in a million is fit of it, and least of all those who seek the opportunity.
Thankfully, the scales have fallen from my eyes. We in the West are not free, we are free range tax cattle. The powers that be would have us all exterminated once they no longer have use for us. The safest assumption is that anyone with political authority wants to: rob you, imprison you, enslave you, kill you, drag your soul to damnation, or any combination of the above.
Lastly, it cracks me up how Bernie plugs an anti-establishment ethos when his entire platform is to get the government’s Lovecraftian tentacles on even more of our lives. It really does make an anarchistic, Mad Max-style free for all look attractive by comparison.
