Nonsense. I took care of my parents when they were both sick and dying; does that make me a hero? Remember the line from the gospels; "we are all unpaid servants; we do what we are obligated to do."

So, now I’m not pro-life and do not “stand with the Church” because I think Sarah Palin is an empty headed, intellectually vapid post-politician? She didn’t even have to wherewithal to finish her second term as governor! She bailed because there was too much money to be made in selling her brand. I don’t think that’s very virtuous.
 
That was such a horrible article. Just horrible journalism IMNSHO.

Don’t they even try to say the facts anymore?

I once saw a clip of Glen Beck too, and he said (he is a Mormon) that we are all Catholic now because of the HHS mandate going after the Catholic Church and it’s stand on contraception. Yet it is a so called catholic that leads HHS. (BTW, she has been told not to present herself for communion by her Bishop). I think I would rather have Glenn Beck on my side than some so called catholic who is being used to go after the Church.

I agree and raise you one. I don’t even like the labels in politics. The labels become a substitute for substance and their meaning changes over time. The 60’s liberal who opposed racial qualifications for college admissions is now a conservative for the same position.

The Blessed Virgin might not be considered “accomplished” by many people’s standards today.

Well if you think Sarah Palin is a dummie, what do you consider Biden then, the intellectual head of his party? With all his gaffs and off the wall remarks its no wonder the white house has him under lock and key. Take a good look at the VP debate, you had two Catholics, one that was polite, smart and honest. the other rude, snotty and arrogant.
