What’s surprising is anyone on the secular Left mentioning Satan at all.

Usually, Hitler functions as the paragon of evil for the Left. To listen to them, Hitler was the only evil actor in the world.

But when they call you a Hitler, what they’re ultimately saying is we don’t like you.

It is ironic that the left seems to like to turn Hitler into a sort of tar baby for the conservatives in the the world; when in fact Hitler was yhr quitessential liberal in his philosophy and governance. The bottom line is that Hitler is a failure of the new agers and they do not tolerate failures so they have done their best to saddle him on the right.
 
Interesting. Usually psychiatrists are the ones they call in to try to disprove stuff like possession…

I’ve said this many times, because I find it so ironic that the words “nazi” and “fascist” are used as a label against modern right wingers, when in fact nazism and fascism were left-wing extremists.

Whenever leftists call Bush “Hitler” or a religious conservative “fascist”, i remind them that both were leftists–then when they claim, correctly, that they don’t deserve to be associated with mass-murderers, I tell them they are correct–and point out that the people they call “nazis” and “fascists” don’t deserve it either.

Our cubbies are doing good :)–they may be setting us up for spectacular post season disappointment again :(.

I think calling conservatives “Hitler” and liberals “Stalin” are both inappropriate. Whatever disagreements we have on both sides of the aisle, only someone in leave of their senses could compare the other’s views to the systematic mass murder of millions of innocents. I believe to do so is like comparing murder to spitting on the sidewalk, and is a complete insult to the victims of Nazism and Communism.

I don’t know about you guys, but once while in the grocery ceck out line I saw a reputable magazine which showed a photograph of Pres. Bush greeting an alien at a state dinner. I was convinced. So according to my resources it’s more likely he’s strange bedfellows with E.T. and not Satan.

Jay, as for the Cubs I smell a spectacular finish.

I have been trying to make this point since college. There is nothing in Nazi party rule that evenly remotely would be supported by a conservative.

Whom have you been listening to? We liberals consider Stalin, Mao, Pol-Pot, and those totalitarians paragons of evil as well. Liberals believe in individual rights, something none of those men believed in.

It’s not odd at all. What’s odd, hilarious, sad and dishonest is liberals equating Bush43 with Hitler and Republicans with Nazi’s as the MoveOn.org crowd and the Democratic Underground love to do.

Richard, it may suprise you to know that many a leftist (not to be wholy confused with liberal, but they do vote the same usually) don’t think that Stalin, Mao or Castro are bad at all. Really.

Also, many a leftists may believe in individual sexual rights…but property rights?? No. They may believe in equality…but liberty?? No. Equality of outcomes, maybe, but not really equal opportunity. Maybe behavioral license, but liberty?? No.

A Leftist, and to a smaller extent their sister, the liberal, think government has the responsibility to shape and mold (control) the human being into utopian happiness. And because of this, government sometimes must a’hem “act” for humanity’s own good, however painful or misunderstood those actions may be… Thus Lenin, Mao, and Castro, all heros of the godless Far Left, increasingly THE VOTING BASE OF YOUR PARTY unfortunately. 😦
