I was listening to an exorcist’s homily recorded on CD while driving yesterday, and just thought that I would share some of the scarier pieces of information I learned.
In the Harry Potter books, the incantations to call demons are quoted word for word.
As for the vampire hype nowadays: Vampire Satanism is the worst kind of Satanism.
The exorcist recommended avoiding both Harry Potter and vampires like the devil, no pun intended.
And just something horrid I discovered on my own a few months ago: in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, in the scene where the chef is singing and preparing dinner, there is an oath against the Virgin Mary. The part: “Sacre bleu, what is this?/How on earth could I miss/Such a sweet little succulent crab”…apparently, the “Sacre bleu” is translated as ‘sacred blue’ an oath referring to Mary. But then again, considering Ariel’s attire when she is turned into a human, I think that most of us probably figured out that it wasn’t the purest of movies.
