I am not so sure about this subject. I have a family history of heart disease and hypertension and have had a stroke myself.
So I would rather not take chances. I actually prefer olive oil (EVOO) over butter and hate eggs yuck!
Lent is becoming my favorite time of year often eat baked fish. And in this country fish is not fried in lard or suet. And I eat it at times. But no chips fried in lard or suet.
I have found that over the years greasy food kind of makes me nauseous. But it is actually trans-fats that make you sick, not sat fats.
