the point is this : muslims claim science in quran, but the Bible was never intended to be a scientific book…it is a faith book…and no, it is not the Word of God in the islamic sense…that is, it is not a word for word from God’s mouth neither written on a heavenly tablet in heaven…the Bible is the history of God’s interaction with His people people and how they responded to God’s commands, how their perception of him was and how the truth culminated with Jesus.

It is interesting that many Muslim members of this forum apply different rules to the Bible and to the Quran. In light of Muslims literal view of the Quran why does the Quran speak of the sun sitting in the mud and other such nonsense? Every new Muslim member of this forum has seemed to try this utterly ignorant attempt to prove to us our “grave error”. If this is the best Muslim apologetics can produce it is no wonder there have always been far more Christians than Muslims.

Scientifically accurate information in the Bible:
In Isa 40:22 and three other passages. (Prov 8:27; Amos 9:6 Job 26:10) it says the earth is round and not flat. Job 26:7 says the earth is free-floating in space: “he hangs the earth on nothing.” Both these facts are scientifically accurate, and revealed in the Bible long before man discovered it for himself.
Here’s another scientifically accurate item in the Bible:
The Bible had already fully documented the hydrologic water cycle 1600 before the Koran in Job 36:27-28, and 3 other passages (Eccl 11:3; Job 26:8; Eccl 1:6-7), which proves Muhammad merely copied the scientific facts of the hydrologic water cycle directly from the Bible.

Yeap, all the various versions of your Bibles (of which no two are indentical) can never be the Word of God *per se * in any sense. They appear to contain some words about God, wirtten b y mostly UNKNOWN authors, because the people of previous Prophets of God, were so careless for various political and non-political reasons Thus there was a need to send the Final Word of God meant for whole Mankind and that is The Holy Quran.
But people like the Scribes and the Pharisees which exist and are found in almost every epoch/period will never be satisfied and they will always follow their own whims and “understanding”. By doing this they cannot defeat God nor Godly people, rather they will be the loosers on the Day of Judgement for not following the Holy Quran.
As far, infants, babies belonged to people of any faith, legitimate or illegitimate, they all will go to Paradise, if they die in their infancy or before the age of reason, since no child is born with sin. Thus the Paul’s Christianity foundational idea of so-called “original sin” is foolish and nonsense, and amazingly even from their Biblical point of view:
**النفس التي تخطئ هي تموت. الابن لا يحمل من اثم الاب والاب لا يحمل من اثم الابن. بر البار عليه يكون وشر الشرير عليه يكون.
فاذا رجع الشرير عن جميع خطاياه التي فعلها وحفظ كل فرائضي وفعل حقا وعدلا فحياة يحيا. لا يموت.
