Loving God,

We thank you for your many blessings and for the grace and healing you have shown our friend Jim to date. We ask for your continued mercy and blessings for our friend and for your comforting and consoling Holy Spirit to be with his wife Elsa as she ministers to him and supports him in these challenges. Our friend Jim is an excellent and caring prayer warrior and we ask that you grant him peace and strength as he continues to endure the trials you have placed in his life. Please grant the entire family courage and strong hope in You, dear Lord.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, I am hanging in there, thanks to your prayers. I am still in remission, and the side effects of the drug are tolerable - although yesterday it was difficult to eat since everything, including water, tasted awful. That sensation fades, however, and the situation tends to improve daily until the next treatment. As to the rest of my life, all is being taken care of and I am living on donated sick leave from my work. When that runs out, well, at this point, I don’t think that far ahead. I had a birthday not long ago, which is a minor miracle, since at this time last year, it was very much in doubt. “Trust me” is what I am being taught, but it is a difficult lesson. With your continued prayers, and an increase in my faith, all will be fine. Thank you and may God bless all of you.

God. Of all the beautiful things you alone have created on this earth for us…jim is one of your major accomplishments. He gives so much of himself to others and also to you. This devout son of Yours needs Your help…help that only You can provide. please, God, sustain Jim through this ordeal and give him the gift of a miracle. Jim needs a miracle more than anyone I know…His loving thoughts and prayers reach out to so many of us…Just grant this one request, my loving Father. Please help Jim in every way possible. His gift of prayer for others is amazing…I am certain you are smiling upon him …please, God, send special angels to surround him and comfort him.
