Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
 
PRAYER FOR THE PRESENT MOMENT

Dear God,

I spend so much time reliving yesterday
or anticipating tomorrow
that I lose sight of the only time that is really mine,
the present moment.
You give today one moment at a time.
That’s all I have,
all I ever will have.
Give the faith which knows that each moment
contains exactly what is best for me.
Give the hope which trusts You enough
to forget past failings and future trials.
Give the love which makes each moment
an anticipation of eternity with You.
We ask this in the name of Jesus
Who is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Amen.
 
Dear Jim, I have been praying for you even though I haven’t been on the forums. Everytime I feel discouraged, I think of you and say a prayer. You are an inspiration to us all.

Loving God,

We continue to lift up our intentions for our friend in Christ Jim and his wife Elsa. Please bless them, grant them peace and courage, and have mercy on them, O Lord. We offer the following prayer for our friend Jim.

PRAYER FOR HEALING

Merciful God,
we remember before you all who are sick this day.
Give them courage to live with their disease.
Help them to face and overcome their fears.
Be with them when they are alone or rejected.
Comfort them when they are discouraged.
And touch them with your healing Spirit
that they may find and possess eternal life,
now and forever.

Amen.

Lord, may Your perfect will be fulfilled in Jim, to whom You have continued to give the gift of life.

Amen to each of your prayers. I have been made aware of them today. They refresh me. They sustain me. They reveal the love that is God through my brothers and sisters in Christ. Alleuia!
 
Dear Lord thank you for the healing power you are showing us our through your servant here on Earth. Please continue to give him strength and Grace to handle the Cross that has been given to him to Carry. And please Lord let our prayers reduce some of the burden placed upon him, Amen.
