Loving God,

Please bless, have mercy, and strengthen our friend Jim and his wife Elsa as he continues his journey of life and endures the challenges in his health. Please send your comforting and consoling Holy Spirit to be with them and grant them strong faith, courage, and continued hope in You, O Lord.

PRAYER FOR HEALING

Merciful God,
we remember before you all who are sick this day.
Give them courage to live with their disease.
Help them to face and overcome their fears.
Be with them when they are alone or rejected.
Comfort them when they are discouraged.
And touch them with your healing Spirit
that they may find and possess eternal life,
now and forever.

Amen.
 
Father, hear our prayers for the salvation of the world.
Grant Mercy to all souls that turned away from You.
Open their hearts and minds with Your light.

Gather Your children from the east and the west,
from the north and the south.

Have mercy O God on those who do not know You.
Bring them out of darkness into Your light.
You are our saving God who leads us in our salvation.
Protect us from evil.

Bless and praise You O Lord, hear our prayers and answer us.
You, our Savior, are the hope of all the ends of the Earth
and the distant seas.
May Your way be known upon Earth;
among all nations Your salvation.

We put the world in Your hands; fill us with Your love.
Grant us peace through Christ, our Lord.

Father I offer this prayer for all those who do not know you
as you have called them to, and in particular for my friend Dave
and other close family members.
 
Praise God for all of your prayers! I am back to treatment today, meaning that I will eat much today in preparation for eating very little tomorrow. However, we have a beautiful start to a beautiful sunny day. I thank the Lord for His goodness and mercy. May all who read this thank God for each of the small blessings that make up our foretaste of His promised eternity. Lord, in Your mercy, keep us faithful to Your word. Amen!

Praise God for His goodness! I certainly appreciate each and every one of your prayers. I had treatment yesterday, so I will not be eating much today. In fact, I just finished having a light breakfast, while my sense of taste will still tolerate food. Later today, I will not be able to stomach much. But, that is expected the day after treatment.

The blessing is that my scans look “even better than the last” according to the nurse who is administering the clinical trial. Again, thanks to your prayers. Now, one of the nurses is also praying for me! I told her that I accept each and ever prayer!

Thanks to my brothers and sisters in Christ, and the mercy of our Lord, I am even here to offer these thanks. Amen!
