Loving God,

We thank you for your many blessings in our lives and today we especially thank you for the divinely inspired capacity of endurance that you grant your people during times of trial and challenge. We pray for the continued recovery and for strength for our friend in Christ and excellent humble prayer warrior, Jim. We pray that you will continue to bless him and his wife Elsa as he walks the path you have chosen for him, putting one foot in front of the other with courage inspired by the knowledge that he walks with Your son Jesus. Lord, You are the rock, refuge, redeemer, salvation, security, shepherd, and sanctifier of Your Holy people.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your Holy people.

Amen.

and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

A bit if a rough night last evening. I received he correct amount of the drug, and at the proper rate. However, I still became nauseated, even after taking my anti-nausea drug. A small glass of lemon-lime soda did not help, but rather made things worse. But, even with a headache and some chills, sleep came naturally. I will try something very light this morning. Thank you and may the Lord bless you throughout this day for your love and faithfulness. Amen!

The Lord guards his people

Peace be with you: it is I. Do not be afraid. Alleluia.
Those who trust in the Lord are like the mountain of Zion:
it cannot be shaken, it will stand firm for ever.

Jerusalem – the mountains stand guard over it,
and the Lord stands guard over his people,
both now and for ever.
The sceptre of the wicked shall not rest

lest the just themselves stretch out their hands
