Yeah, hang in there Jim. Have you tried some Itailan ice or sherbert to munch on. I know everything tastes like metal, but this stuff cools the mouth and will help you if you are having mouth problems. Sliced apples are good too. Continued prayers, Tim

Brothers and sisters, the Lord has so blessed me that this is the first time I have been truly sick since beginning chemo last August! So, I am counting my blessings and only taking note of the potholes in the road. I am not currently on chemo, so I don’t have the effects of that - but the experimental drug has its own characteristics. As always, your prayers sustain me and have been responsible for my food intake remaining even above the optimum. Thank you all and God bless each of you.
 
Loving God,

We thank you for your many blessings in our lives and today we especially thank you for the divinely inspired capacity of endurance that you grant your people during times of trial and challenge. We pray for the continued recovery and for strength for our friend in Christ and excellent humble prayer warrior, Jim. We pray that you will continue to bless him and his wife Elsa as he walks the path you have chosen for him, putting one foot in front of the other with courage inspired by the knowledge that he walks with Your son Jesus. Lord, You are the rock, refuge, redeemer, salvation, security, shepherd, and sanctifier of Your Holy people.

Please help our brother to take nourishment and keep it down.

He doesn’t really know if he’ll get better or not, but most of all he loves You and wants to fulfil in his life the dream You always had of him, and he dearly loves his family, for whom he wishes to be well.
