The seven priests were celebrating the ordination of a new priest at the bar, which is a favorite of the Catholic Archbishop of Cardiff, when the bouncer politely told them they couldn’t enter, because he suspected they were in costume and going to celebrate a bachelor party (obviously the bar must have had bad experiences with them in the past and so banned bachelor parties, or “stag-dos” as they’re called in Britain). However, the manager realized they were genuine priests, and so invited them in, to which the seven got a standing ovation from the patrons… and a round of drinks on the house 🙂

Hopefully they blessed the beer before departing for the night? 🙂

Awww. They were wearing cassocks and everything. How awesome. 🙂

😃 😃 😃

Three smiles, because a post requires at least three characters!

What an endearing story. Glad to see give how hard working our priests are these days that they found some time to celebrate.

Thanks for explaining “stag do” – I had no idea what the headline meant! 😃

Nice story. 🙂
