Nope, but you do have to agree with the Church. Therefore, we’ll be expecting to support the “illegalization” of abortion.

And the NON-use of Birth Control by all Catholics, as well.

Birth control is not contrary to Catholic teaching. Artificial contraception is. No Catholic can legitimately use artificial contraception as a method of birth control. So, then, that makes you for making abortion illegal and for not using artificial birth control. Good for you.

Detroit Sue:
You are wrong. The majority of society DOES want abortion criminalized again. We had it forced upon us by legislators with an agenda to reduce the population.

Bella, I don’t know how else to ask this, so I’m just going to ask it.

Are you certain that you are Catholic? I’ve noticed in many posts that you take the exact opposite position as that of the Church. I’m glad you read here, though, because you may hear something that changes you.

“If today you hear His voice, harden not your heart.”
Roe v. Wade was not legislated. It was a Supreme Court decision… and it set aside numerous State laws that prohibited or severely restriced abortion. One of the major political issues of the day is that the Supreme Court invents new laws, in violation of the Constitution.

The “Liberal movement” has repeatedly sought dominance over the Supreme Court specifically because the “Liberal movement” CANNOT win local or national elections on a consistent basis… unless it camoflages itself as some “middle of the road” or “conservative” party/candidate. When “the Liberal movement” stands up and proudly states what it is in favor of, it loses elections.

One of the reasons why George Bush (Sr.) was so vilified is that he was goaded by the right to refer to the “L” word, which “the liberal movement” thought was unsportsmanlike behavior.

Yes, you would also be expected to oppose the use of artificial contraception. Believe it or not, there are people who agree with this teaching, and on this board, at least, it isn’t uncommon.
