Hopefully reason will prevail and the public will force the far-right Tea Party politicians to understand that violent inuendo-laced rhetoric has real world consequences and is unacceptable in a civilized society. I predict that this trajedy will turn the public off to calls for âsecond amendment remediesâ, to âreloadâ, and âIf ballots donât work, bullets willâ slogans and turn the Tea Party into an irrelevant and microscopic component of the political make-up of this country. That kind of stuff may have resonated with some people before this event but having seen what they are really advocating come to fruition will cause many of them to distance themselves from the kind of mob rule they once called for.Shamelessly using a horrible tragedy where a 9 year old girl died to try and help themselves politically is just going to disgust the public with the morally bankrupt democrats even more than they felt on November 2.
what absolute claptrap! The âfar rightâ has not used violence laced rhetoric. We are sick and tired of the people we elect into office to SERVE our interests, turning around and sticking it to us in the form of taxes and regulations so that they can live like kings and queens! Our ancestors left Europe with its royalty and we donât want it now! We also reject the idea that GOVERNMENT is the provider of all things in the world. There is nothing wrong with peaceable assembly and that is what we have been doing all along. The left might take a word of warning - if you restrict the free speech of the side you disagree with, what happens when that side is in power again and the laws are in place to restrict YOU???Hopefully reason will prevail and the public will force the far-right Tea Party politicians to understand that violent inuendo-laced rhetoric has real world consequences and is unacceptable in a civilized society. Still waiting for you to post any evidence whatsoever that the rhetoric is harsher today than it was in the past and that political rhetoric has led to any increase in violence whatsoever. Can you give us a link showing the number of offices vandalized now as compared to those vandalized in the past? Can you give us a link supporting your assertion that not only has violence increased but it is a result of harsher political rhetoric?Hopefully reason will prevail and the public will force the far-right Tea Party politicians to understand that violent inuendo-laced rhetoric has real world consequences and is unacceptable in a civilized society. Just stop it already. Both sides, left and right, have had this âviolent inuendo-laced rhetoricâ in the past, only only now it is suddenly a crisis? Iâve already posted examples of prominent Democrats using the same kind of rhetoric, so quit trying to say this is some sort of Tea-party only phenomenon. The far left is just as guilty:Hopefully reason will prevail and the public will force the far-right Tea Party politicians to understand that violent inuendo-laced rhetoric has real world consequences and is unacceptable in a civilized society. Itâs scary, the way the folks on the left just all âfollow the leadâ, whatever the latest lies the left-wing bloggers and opinion makers of the left are pedalling, they seem to just unthinkingly swallow them whole and regurgitate them. No thinking involved, just parrot the latest âtalking pointsâ. Itâs like a percentage of the population are just these mindless pod people, like Invasion of the Body Snatcherswhat absolute claptrap! Mob rule my left great toenail. That is what the elites think of we the people, âmob rule.â Well stick that in your ear, buddy, the âmobâ is who votes. Bye bye, leftists who capitalize on the murder of innocent people to try and win elections.
I provided three examples in my last post and there are plenty more. The âfar rightâ has not used violence laced rhetoricâŚ
There is nothing wrong with peaceable assembly but that is not all everyone on the far-right has been doing and calls to exchange ballots for bullets when you donât get your way create a dangerous atmosphere for people on both sides of the aisle. There is nothing wrong with peaceable assembly and that is what we have been doing all along.
Whoopi Goldberg Today compared todayâs rhetoric as the kind that led to the lynching of blacks. Such over-the-top nonsense does nothing to bolster their case. In fact the fact we donât have lynchings anymore is more evidence that political discourse is a lot more reasonable today than it was in the pastItâs scary, the way the folks on the left just all âfollow the leadâ, whatever the latest lies the left-wing bloggers and opinion makers of the left are pedalling, they seem to just unthinkingly swallow them whole and regurgitate them. And I provided dozens of examples of the far-left. Yet the Tea Party is uniquely guilty?I provided three examples in my last post and there are plenty more.

doesnât Whoopi work with the paradigm of love Joy Behar, she of the âcome here b####!, come to New York!, she can rot in hell!â. Can you imagine the hissy fits the left would be having if a conservative TV host said that?Whoopi Goldberg Today compared todayâs rhetoric as the kind that led to the lynching of blacks. Again, people would take you more seriously if you stop blaming the far right.Hopefully reason will prevail and the public will force the far-right Tea Party politicians to understand that violent inuendo-laced rhetoric has real world consequences and is unacceptable in a civilized society. Only Tea Party/conservative candidates based their campaigns on calls for a guns-in-hand revolution if the right wing loses and now a Democrat is lying in the hospital after taking a bullet to the head. That is what they called for whether Laughner was motivated by them or not. âIf ballots donât work bullets willâ indeed.Just stop it already. Not in AZ they didnâtOnly Tea Party/conservative candidates based their campaigns on calls for a guns-in-hand revolution if the right wing loses .
I doubt people in Arizona are ignorant of the politics outside of their State. Not in AZ they didnât
You might be surprised but people in AZ donât usually look to people outside the State to tell us how to vote in congressional elections. If they do that in your State, you might want to consider movingI doubt people in Arizona are ignorant of the politics outside of their State.
That sounds accurate to me.Itâs scary, the way the folks on the left just all âfollow the leadâ, whatever the latest lies the left-wing bloggers and opinion makers of the left are pedalling, they seem to just unthinkingly swallow them whole and regurgitate them. This more than anything sums up what is going on here. Well said.In just the 17 years from 1963 to 1980 we had JFK assassinated, MLK assassinated, Bobby Kennedy assassinated, George Wallace crippled in an attempted assassination, Gerald Ford was in an attempted assassination Twice, and Ronald Reagon nearly died in an attempted assassination. btw at least half of the perps were nuts, like this latest nut, but no one was lying about the âreal motiveâ being caused from all the âdangerous rhetoricâ (probably because the Democrats werenât looking for a life-line after suffering the worst rejection from the public in 70 years)
Shamelessly using a horrible tragedy where a 9 year old girl died to try and help themselves politically is just going to disgust the public with the morally bankrupt democrats even more than they felt on November 2.
If reason prevails, liberals will join the tea party.Hopefully reason will prevail and the public will force the far-right Tea PartyâŚ
