There is no sin, and no hatred, in anyone drawing a picture of Mohammed or any one else.
Graphic arts are a tradition as ancient as Christianity itself, and it is the iconoclasts in Christian tradition who have been deemed to be the heretics.

There is a sin however, in falsely labeling people as hate-mongers. As Dennis Prager constantly reminds us though, honesty is not a left wing value.

Screaming about hate is the left’s best calling next to the race card.

I’m a minority by USA standards, and I still got called a racist by a white liberal.

Liberal logic has about as much red tape as their big governments do. It’s a real headache sometimes trying to track it all.

Seems to me that people either think it’s a waste of time or are too afraid. I know of a guy who did it on youtube started getting death threats. That shut him up.

Oh, did I mention too that a lot of those who defend so-called gay “marriage” also race out to defend Islam?

So really, where’s the incentive to bash Islam? One stands to lose MAJOR cred in the PC crowd along race, religion and cultural tolerance, and then on the flip side there’s death threats.

Our culture really isn’t that full of violence, and nobody makes much of a fuss when people make fun of Christians or who they hold as Savior.

How many children have women, doctors and men (who cowardly abandon the woman or tell her to have an abortion) how many babies in the womb have we killed as a nation? Want the numbers?
How much domestic violence is happening every day in our country? Do you want the numbers?

How many people are addicted to pornography? Violence to women, and tragically children. Want the numbers?

How many children are abused physically everyday – just have to go shopping at Walmart to see that reality – verbal abuse and physical abuse too. Can’t give you numbers on that but just go shopping there every week and you will see it happen before your eyes.

I can relate to this. I’m Hispanic but when I don’t agree with them so I’m called a racist.

I also find it bit hypocritical that the NYT stated the cartoon was offensive and they should not have done it, etc. But on the same page they praised that movie/musical about the book of Mormon which is incredibly offensive to them and also criticized the Catholic Church and demanded the Church change her doctrine. Btw the NYT is constantly attacking the Catholic Church.

I also find a bit hypocritical that the Charlie Hebdo cartoons were far more offensive, but all the world leaders went and marched down the streets with a fear on their face.

Like most leftists, they are most likely too terrified of Islam to criticize it. Also like most leftists, they probably pretends this cowardice is some kind of virtue of “tolerance”, which is never displayed towards those they actually disagree with.

With that said, I don’t think any cartoon is going to solve anything regarding Muslim extremists. I think we are dealing with something so much more forceful than an attack on free speech.

I also don’t believe that free speech has no limits. If someone wants to show as a form of free speech a porn in a public place, then I think that is not free speech at all.

So let me get this straight. You pray for the forgiveness of those who sawed off the heads of multiple innocents, just because they weren’t fellow Islamists -because you feel like they deserve forgiveness?

What needs to happen, is the destruction of Radical Islam. Whether its smoking them out with drawings of Mohammed or spying with intelligence by the government or going overseas and dropping bombs. We are so concerned about our South and North American brothers and sisters who need to immigrate to our nation but let in people for decades now who promote **(not all of course) **forced conversion and horrendous crimes towards women, children and men.
We never saw the light when the twin towers where first attacked. Money --greed and being naive regarding the middle east brought to our nation a new, sad and tragic reality when on Sept 2001 we were attacked by evil minded terrorists.
Our lives have never been the same and most likely unless we as a nation seek a moral life and holy life-- our lives will never be the same again. Ignorance is not bliss …

I don’t think so! You don’t promote violence to get rid of violence-- Jesus told us that a million times. He also told us to forgive, to pray for our enemies. If you look at Japan they will not allow certain religions into their country or they have a limited number for admittance.
If we do not learn how to live with each other, because we are a nation that has many Muslims and many converts to Islam – you watch the Muslim world will take over this country because of how ignorant we have been and are. Look at the time of St. Augustine a time when Christianity was at its peek and then what happened total Muslim take over.

Show me a link of a moderate Muslim that was offended. Only a radical would be offended by such a competition.

Poking fun at their prophet does not help. How would you feel if another religion drew cartoons of Christ on the cross for fun. Is that disrespectful? Is it a form of hate. You and I would not think of murdering innocents but there are disturbed Christians and radicals who might.
