I completely agree. Congratulations, now some lives have been lost and others were endangered so that you could wave your little banner of free speech in bad art. Yippee.
So in your opinion, it is sad that these ISIS soldiers were killed?

In this day and age and not speaking of the past, the religion unfortunately is used to justify violent acts by a number of followers so it can not be separated from their acts when some cartoons have been drawn to show this connection. Nonetheless, they take offense to them.

Just search Danish Cartoons.

Also, respectful depictions are frowned on by many.

In my view, it is unnecessarily provocative to organise an event of this nature, for the sole purpose of proving some kind of dubious point.

I see Ms Geller was refused entry to the UK, as her organisation is classified as a hate group here, under our laws.
Though this may be the complaint about Geller, I don’t know if there is actually a list that would call her organization a “hate organization”.

If a Christian baker shot up the wedding of a gay couple that sued to force him to provide a wedding cake, would you accuse the gay couple of being “unnecessarily provocative”?

You mean disrespect like submerging a crucifix in a bottle of urine and calling it art ? Or a painting of the Virgin Mary where her breasts were made out of cow dung ? Or how about a play that the depicts Jesus as a promiscuous homosexual ? All these occurred and not one single act of violence was caused by them . Not one
It doesn’t make the act less disrespectful. In the US we are lucky that we have not been radicalized by years of despot rule, senseless wars often started by Western interference. You need to broaden your perspective of what is happening in the world.
Muslims also find homosexuality deeply offensive-in fact it carries the death penalty in Muslim countries. If Muslims attacked a gay wedding in the United States would you criticize the couple getting “married” for provoking them?
Suppose they attacked a opposite sex wedding that display cartoons of their prophet. Would you criticize the couple for getting married?

What do you think about US drone strikes that wipe out innocent wedding parties and funerals goers which are not hypothetical. I think in the US we call it collateral damage that can’t be helped.

Why do you need a list to know if a hate organization is a hate organization? I think most people can discern hate by what the organization stands for and does?

You’re the one blaming the victim here-not me I don’t think anybody should be attacked and when they are Ibmost certainly don’t blame those who are being attacked for being insensitive or make excuses for the attackers that somehow Western oppression justifies their actions .

So were the attackers acting out of hate?

Thank you for your opinion, I choose to deal with facts.

Believe me, if Christians ever did get violent like the terrorists, we’d hear about it nonstop.

All kinds of progressives and liberals would come of out of the woodwork.

No non-violent act EVER deserves to be acted against with an attempt to murder. EVER!

…Anyone who says otherwise is an extreme radical.

:rotfl:

So then an organization that stands for free speech is a hate group?

Just how far is the pro-gay rights American left willing to go in order to appease radical sects of Islam?

And I’m supposed to sit here and believe that Western progressive values are the inevitable future of the entire world?

:rotfl:

Again, search out the Danish cartoons, direct inspiration for violence is gathered from the words of the Prophet, many verses indicate this.

If there were Christian or Buddhist terrorists running around using their faith as the inspiration for their acts, that is fair game. In fact, in the isolated incidences where abortion practitioners have been gunned down and if the culprit used the Bible as their inspiration, it is fair game.

That is the difference in this modern time.

The Terrorists do use their faith as inspiration, it’s probably on that black flag of theirs.

Offending someone who isn’t a white male Christian of Saxon/Nordic background is one of the worst things one can do in the secular world…it’s way worse than abortion to some…and if we don’t stop it right here, right NOW…it’ll be slavery and colonalism all over again! :p:o

Oh, um, unless Trey Parker, Homer J. Simpson, Stewart. Colbert or Chris Rock have jokes about it.

Then, it’s all good. 👍

Pamela Geller Speaks at Brooklyn College, Speech, Q&A

She talks about the adds on buses that she put up, and why and why she put them up. She also talks about why she does what she does. Interesting video:

Your inability to separate the issues amazes me. Again when someone excites hate through their own actions then there may be unintended consequences. Knowing that there may be unintended consequences does not blame victims. If there is a tragedy from unintended consequences the blame rightfully falls on those who do the provoking.

In your example of a gay marriage no one purposely set pit tp incite hate so the marriage is simply an opportunity for killing gays by extremists who hate gays not an unintended consequence of the marriage.

Perhaps I was extremely blessed to have had the guidance to grow up tolerant. I think most people are tolerant but radicals by nature are not tolerant. To purposely provoke radicals with known hate symbols, such as cartoons of their prophet, is beyond stupidity. I am sorry for the victims and their families caused by such stupidity.

👍👍 Like turning a light on and seeing them speed back to the woodwork!

That’s about as likely as a pizzeria catering a wedding…

What specific organization are you talking about that is considered hate groups because they promote free speech?

Your innuendo is totally unsupported. What specific gay rights group supports appeasing radical Islam?

Mohammed does not belong to ‘them’. He belongs to me, and to you, and to every other human being, including Pam Geller. We can draw our fellow brother however we wish, and no Muslim has any right to try and stop us. We can call him anything we want too, and nobody can do anything about it while being just at the same time.
