Maybe that is why they had to gobble up ABC, Star Wars, and Marvel . . . running out of their own ideas.

I wonder. They’re revamping and live-actioning everything in their catalog, it seems…

Well, on the opposite side of boycotting, today my teenage son and I went to see the movie Incredibles 2.

It was brilliant! ❤️

We’re not allowed to appreciate beauty that God gives? This sounds joyless.

God is a infinitely superior joy. Plus I didn’t say that.

If it becomes a distraction than it is not a good thing.

I think you are making up false ideas about what I said.

They apparently didn’t. You said film that distracts us from God is not a good thing. I’m currently working with a play about the Holocaust. It’s quite telling about the human condition and suffering. I can’t say that it’s focusing on God, specifically. Is it wrong, then, to read, study, and teach it? What about watching Thomas the Tank Engine films with my son? Should we not do so since we’re only doing so for entertainment’s sake?

You can be focusing on God even when you do things that don’t necessarily relate to Him.
