Hi,
We can’t force anyone to convert. That’s Islam-convert or die! HMMM
ALL we can do, is live our witness. If ppl ask, we answer. We can invite friends to go to mass w us and start an example.
The Holy Spirit ignites the moment of witness. He’ll guide you. Then, let it rest. We plant seeds. The Holy Spirit Waters the plants. Just love

Now I’m confused. How can it be valid if neither the baptized person nor that person’s legal guardians ever gave consent?
Infant baptism is going to be valid as long as it’s under the age of reason, that’s the general practice ever since the time of the Apostles when they would baptize whole households. If I remember correctly there is a verse that states one of the baptized people didn’t really know what they were baptized for (I’ll have to go see if that’s correct) and thus the apostles told them about Christ and laid their hands on them for the Holy Spirit (confirmation).

I suppose there’s a lot more theological background to it.

That’s at least under the current Code of Canon Law, although I doubt the validity of the baptism has changed its status for infants under the age of reason even before the Code of Canon Law.

(Wether or not it was morally correct is a different question)

And if they don’t convert to Catholicism, will they go to hell? I always think of the afterlife of non-christians. Thank you very much.
We cannot convert anyone to be a Catholic because only God can convert us to be Catholics.

God created the human race and so God obliged to care for and to save the human race.

If God would save only Catholics, then God would be obliged to convert the entire human race into Catholicism.

Or, if God would save only Christians, then God would be obliged to convert the entire human race into Christianity.

So, we can conclude God saves non-Christians as well, if not He would be an unjust and careless God.

We also know, God’s Universal Salvific Will is Everyone Saved, so God saves the non-Christians as well.

God bless.

God is not obliged to do anything.
We will always stay God’s little children.

We are obliged to love, care and bring up our children in the best of our abilities.

Do you think SeriousQuestion, we have to be more loving, caring of our children than God?

The Catholic Church teaches as follows, God must care for His creation – includes us, as we will always stay His little children.
