As I am writing this thread, my son had a motor vehicle accident where his car was sandwiched between two vehicles. His car is totaled.I keep one hanging there for many reasons, too: to thank God I have a car and count my blessings beefore I turn the car on (kind of like buckling your safety belt before you put the keys in the ignition.)
I I have several rosary CDs when I drive, so I like to see it and although I cannot touch it, I am comforted when I pray along.
I touch it when I get into the car to pray for protection and ask God ith the three “Hail Mary” beads for good reaction time, safely after I touch it when there is a “near miss” to an accident.
I pray three Hail Mary’s when I see a funeral or an ambulance go by, (along with the “Eternal Rest” prayer, I pray when I touch it to see if I should stop to help a broken-down motorist, and I touch it (and make the sign o the cross often , too) to give thanks that I made it to my destinaton safely.
It’s my lifeline to Jesus through Mary, even / especially when driving.
He walked away without a scratch…there is a rosary hanging from his rearview mirror… I’m the one that prays it daily…
Pax Domini sit semper vobiscum.
