Here’s the Wiki article which is not TOO bad (not my favorite source and I could probably find a few errors in there).

It ran in 1993-1994. My son was 10 when it started and he was reading a lot of classic Westerns (Louis L’Amour, Zane Grey) so we watched this and I think we also watched some of the old Wild West West either on VCR (this was pre DVD for us) or on Nick at Night. My daughters liked the show because they loved horses (being 11 and 8 at the time).

That’s funny…everyone is different…my husband loved Star Trek…I did not like that show at all. Although, I don’t consider myself anti-SCI FI…I just didn’t like that show for some reason.

A more up to date one that I miss is Seinfeld – that was such a refreshingly funny show. But, I watch Curb Your Enthusaism (starring Seinfeld’s co creator, Larry David) and it is pretty hilarious, as Seinfeld was…basically plots about nothing. lol

LOL Whatevergirl. I did the same thing, asked for the Lois Lane hair cut. The show started when I was a freshman in highschool and finished when I graduated. 😦

LOL–We’re not alone! LOL

Let me see…it started I think I was married already…I got married when I was 22, and that was back in 1992. When did the show air? I think I was married…

Pete and Pete, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts…all the great Nickelodeon shows that I grew up with.
Pete and Pete was great. Artie, the strongest man in the Universe was awesome. Did you like You can’t do that on television? I also liked a lot of the old game shows on Nick, like Double Dare and Family Double Dare.

Way back, when “family hour” was really family hours, The waltons and Little House on the Prairie. Then there was one called “Family”, I think, that had the boy with Down Syndrome.

You never had to worry what your children were watching back then.

I miss all the Star Trek shows. I wish they could have kept them going, added new ones and created a whole Star Trek network.
Star Trek is great. Deep s
Space Nine was my least favorite. ( I couldn’t stand Gul Dukat.)

I didn’t get to see Enterprise much because the station that carried it in my area kept changing the time that it was on. I have gotten to see most of the episodes on the Sci-Fi channel though.

Anyone remember Welcome Back Kotter? lol 😃
Oh, my gosh, yes! I was in the 5th grade & loved John Travolta so much! Vinnie Barbarino, it’s all coming back now… I think Happy Days was out the same year & we loved that, too.
My Dad also used to watch The Bionic Man & Jaimie Summers with me. Then we would get down & play wrestle on the floor in slow motion like the characters on the show. He was such a good Dad…

The Screen Savers. Eyedrops. Courage the Cowardly Dog.:crying:
I believe Courage plays Friday nights on Cartoon Network, well it certainly was before Halloween. Check out your Friday night listings!

Since DH and I are totally kids at heart, I remember watching those shows and I miss them too! However I love Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents. 😊

I also miss the REAL Saturday morning cartoons like Bugs Bunny & the Road Runner, Superfriends, Schoolhouse Rock ('cause Knowledge is Power!! :D), Bullwinkle.

**Check your cable listings for Boomerang…it’s cartoon network’s answer to Nick at Night. Meaning they play the classic cartoons! 👍 **

I love the The Mary Tyler-Moore show, Bob Newhart, I Love Lucy, Patty Duke, etc. I wish Tv Land and Nick at Nite would bring back the true classics, and not just re-run the shows from the 80’s and 90’s. 😦
**Nickelodian has a new channel called TVLand that is playing all of these. This morning I pondered watching Brady Bunch followed by Leave it to Beaver. Check your cable channel listings for TV Land. **

OK my favorites were all the Jack Webb shows. Dragnet followed by Emergency! followed by Adam-12.

I loved these shows! Too bad Nick at Night or TV Land doesn’t play these. I do have the box sets though. My DH bought them all for me! 👍 Ahhh amore’!

There was a show called Family that co-starred Kristy McNichol. You are thinking of the series Life Goes On.

I remember Family…speaking of which, what ever happened to her? (Kristy M)

What?! I never knew there were any dolls… I would have married them, too, lol. How cute.

This thread is bringing back great memories. When I was even younger, we also loved The Brady Bunch & The Partridge Family. I was like 6 when my parents took us to see David Cassidy in concert. I didn’t really understand, & I kept asking where the rest of the Partidge’s were…
I also had a crush on Magnum PI. My Dad & I would fall off the furniture laughing when Carol Burnett was on- I loved Mr Tuddball…
I heard Kristy McNichols did a fair amount of acting as an adult, but might have suffered from some depression or something similar. I think she’s doing very well, but staying away from the Hollywood lights & leading a quiet life to stay healthy. Good for her!

Yes–good for her indeed!🙂

Re: the dolls…ha! Yes, both dolls had a binocular type left eye, that when you looked through them, you could see reeeeaaaaalllly far. It was sooooo cool! 😃 😃 😃
