I honestly don’t see the problem with the ad. I’m used to it now. It was a bit of a shock at the start, but I’ve kinda learned to tune it out. Advertising is fact of life now, so let’s just be thankful the ad is Catholic, aimed at a large demographic of those on CAF. That’s more than I can say for a lot of other ads on different websites…

Yes…every situation is different…I have known some that sought to contact a dating service because they literally had a difficult time getting a date…she tried, however, she had a weight problem and did meet someone throught the dating service…she is a Catholic but the guy is not! So, she declined to attend her Church because of his wishes…now has a child and has not been baptized…her parents are devastated! I would say she settled for less…ugh! We all have choices…as for me…Met my husband in college…after twenty years we divorced! Ten years later, we contacted each other and married in the Catholic Church (only after I prayed for him to come back into my life)…I still would leave it to “faith” and would not consider it an “old fashion” choice…I just believe in God’s “plan”, his “match” for me…it is so “spiritual”, so “traditional”, so “planned” by God…Amen! 😉 :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Was the Ad removed? I don’t see it…? I hope it was removed! Great!

I heard of someone being banned for a thousand years. That does seem excessive.
apparently, there wasn’t a way to permanently ban set up initially, so a ridiculously long period was used.

I have nothing against the nice lady or the goals of the website (frankly a good cause)

But after this thread, I just… couldn’t …unsee the simpering.

Thank you for removing.

The simpering young woman has been replaced…
It is now much worse.

Just as I complained about the repetitiveness of the previous advertisement (in itself flawless), so now it is right that I recognize the enormous improvement applied: the advertising strips that are often replaced by other strips, do not constitute any problem and no annoyance.

Thank you for taking into account our opinions 🙂
