Makes one wonder why we even have the Gospels, or why the Church didn’t order the Bible according to Reformed’s theology.
The Apostle John wrote a very doctrinal gospel account. 🙂 Romans and the gospel of John are the most foundational books to understand the Christian Faith.

The demons believe (dead faith), but have not been granted saving faith. True saving faith is not a dead faith according to the Apostle James. Is a progessive personal obedience to the revealed will of God evidence of having received saving faith, or is your personal obdedience including good works the basis of your salvation?
Reformed…
We are saved through the precious blood of our Lord. Any works that I do hopefully is for the glory of God.

What are you trying to prove? That we have "works based religion?

You state that the demons have a “dead faith” No, they have a very active “live” faith. They have CHOSEN to reject God.

I am tired of your accusations that the Catholic Church is a works based , man made religion .

The Catholic Church is more than just the Roman rite and you have been reminded over and over again.
YOUR dislike of the “Romish” church is based on ignorance.

The early church is the Catholic Church. For over 1500 years, it was so. It is still the ONLY church that Christ started. Her teaching have not changed.

1 Timothy 6:3-5
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Red is my emphasis

I am SO done with you…
Good Luck. I will be praying for you.

Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
I am asking this same question to all Roman Catholic Christians. What must I do to be saved? Please share your answer with
me.

Nothing. YOU are capable of nothing in reguards to your salvation.
You are a worthless sinfull person (along with all mankind). The only choice in the whole matter is weather or not to spit in GOD’s face for his gift.

Do you denie original sin?

Do you denie the true presence of Christ in the Sacraments?

These are important and can be tied to salvation.

Believe and have **faith **in God and acknowledge His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as the only Savior and Redeemer who died for our sins.
You must belong to the mystical body of Christ- the one, holy, ‘universal’ Catholic, and apostolic Church (Only Church with valid Eucharist!) so you can receive nourishment from Him with His flesh and blood.
Follow the moral teachings of His Church-which means ‘lot of good works’ (this maybe IS your biggest problem!

If you falter we have the sacraments…😉

The Bible does not give us clear answers to these questions. Ultimately, all sinners are saved by the person and work of Christ on their behalf. I personally believe God applies the work of Christ on behalf of elect infants who die in infancy. I believe elect sinners who are physically handicapped are washed by the blood of Christ before they die. Do you mind posting the official Roman Catholic position to your questions?
Interesting; what does " i " have to do with anything about saving these physical handicapped souls? Your " i " belief system is very dangerous. Honestly, this Christian does not care about your " i " theology, only what Jesus Christ has revealed in time to his body, and is believed these last 2000 years unchanged. If you start adding the " i " theology to what Jesus Christ has revealed and is sufficient for salvation of souls, your headed for many changes and disaster.

I already know the official Catholic position to my questions? I can describe it to you with one word; MYSTAGOGY;

You know, if you really pay attention to the " i " theologies in noncatholic circles, and protestant teachings, you will see they have no faith on the true teachings of God’s revelation to humanity, and are leading farther and farther away from the revealed “Truth” of Jesus Christ.

The answers to humanities salvation is not what the " i " believe theologies, it is what Jesus Christ taught and gave humanity. Which the Catholic church has taught for 2000 years and Jesus will find her doing when he returns. Not " i " believe theologies.

I am asking this same question to all Roman Catholic Christians. **What must I do to be saved? **Please share your answer with

For you to be saved you must become a Catholic.

Thanks for the reverse question. I would respond with your biblical answer in post 2. Do you think the Apostle Paul was not telling us the truth?
From what I understand, there is nothing that we can do to be saved, Christ did it all for us:)Christ LOves the sinner just as much as the goodie two shoes. But when we sin if we know that something is sinful, we must ask pardon for ours sins & do penance. If we dont know that something is a sin then we are not held to it. Seek Forgiveness & Praise the Lord:)We are all sinners & Have to throw ourselves upon the Mercy Of The Lord

In plain english to be saved, you must die first. And in dieing to self; by the mercy and grace of God, Jesus can save you, and bring you into eternal life. But many fear dieing, and cling to the ways of the world, that is why there are so many different interpretations of salvation from Protestant and non catholic circles.

No one can be saved unless they die to the world, and be saved by Jesus Christ, and no one comes to the father except through Jesus Christ. Believing you are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ only supports the faith of demons, because these also have faith that Jesus lives. Salvation comes to those who die first to be resurrected and regenerated as a new creation in Jesus Christ. This is the beginning of Salvation.

For being the apparent One True Church, why do members of the Catholic Church post mutually exclusive answers to the simple biblical question of “Sirs, what must I do to be saved”? 🤷

Romans 10

10:1 Brothers, [1] my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. [2]

The Message of Salvation to All
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. 6 But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 or “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? [3] And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

18 But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have, for

“Their voice has gone out to all the earth,
and their words to the ends of the world.”

19 But I ask, did Israel not understand? First Moses says,

“I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation;
with a foolish nation I will make you angry.”

20 Then Isaiah is so bold as to say,

“I have been found by those who did not seek me;
I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.”

21 But of Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

My answer to your question remains the same. Please see my previous post. It is not meant for you alone.
The Catholic Church is what she is- catholic. Meaning universal. It encompasses all generations and at all places. It is not constrained within time and space. Whether or not there is a bible, she can still teach the good news of salvation. And at that she rejects false doctrines contrary to what is already accepted final in the deposit of faith as revealed truths.:signofcross:

Are you saying the Roman Catholics claiming that your church is 2,000 years old are dead wrong?

No. The Catholic Church was/is and will always be correct in her teachings in matters of faith and morals.
I meant that she rejects false doctrines that are contrary or against the deposit of faith and magesterial teachings.

He may not have gotten it from there, or it may have been another group of faculty than the ones today. More than one of the folks there now are not baptist.
God grants us the grace to overcome our sin and persevere. For example, I have had a terrible addiction to online cybersex and that kind of thing (falling into it multiple times per day often), yet for the past week (since last Saturday), I have been totally clean of doing that kind of stuff.

It is it not because of me, because of God’s grace. I have prayed the Rosary daily since Saturday, made a novena to the Holy Spirit asking for the grace to overcome lustful addiction and, in the past couple days, when those desires have gotten strong to want to go back to doing that kind of thing, I ask St. Mary Magdalene (one of her patronages is sexual temptation) to acquire the graces for me to not fall into that sin.
Maybe a wallet card taped to the bottom of the monitor of your computer might also serve as a reminder of the support you have with this desire.

First it begins with you. Yourself. You are a wonderful creation! You are a temple of the living God- do not defile yourself. Always remember that.
Get rid of all the things in your home that causes temptations if there are any. They are mind pollutants. If you can control your mind at home when no one is seeing you, you can too outside of your home. Your heart will be more happy.
Of course, pray.

Acts 16:30 “…what must I do to be saved”
Acts 16:31 “…believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved…”

John 6:29 “…this is the work of God
that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

1 John 4:14 “…the Father **sent **the Son
to be the Saviour of the world”

Isaiah 43:11 "I even I am the LORD
and beside me there is no saviour "

John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.”
