I have alreay answered that Allah can swear by anything because all are his creation. But no one can swear by anything other than Allah (God). This is the teaching of Islam.

i believe Mary is mentioned often in the Quran. i was reading the other day about a house in Turkey (?) where they think John took Mary to live out her last years. the house has not been authenticated, however.

yes, the Jewish and Christian peoples are seen as people of the book. hopefully, someday, all 3 religions can learn to live in peace with one another.

i don’t know how that will happen if we think that our faith is the right one and the others are wrong.

I don’t believe that all will go to hell. Only the abusive Jews and christians who abuse any man of God (prophet) will go to hell. Other people who are believers in Jesus and Moses and other faiths, as long as they believe in God and do good deeds (means they do not abuse or fight any one for their religion), they have nothing to fear for anything of the past or future. (Al Quran 2:62)

Please remember that applies to Muslims too. They have to be peaceful and non combatants. Otherwise they will suffer the punishments.

Dear morning_star777**, **it’s not a mater of whether they believe in trinity or not, but because Jews are cursed in Islam for many wrong practises, per the following:

(Quran 5:78):
“*Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel *who rejected Faith, by the tongue of Dawud and of 'Isa, the son of Maryam, because they disobeyed and persisted in Excesses.”

That is not our problem. Those bad people were cursed by david and Jesus. Not Muhammad.

(Quran 2:159):
“Those who conceal the Clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after we have made it clear for the People in the Book, on them shall be Allah’s curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse.”

Those who conceal any part of the teachings of Torah or Injeel, you do not like that they should be cursed? Why not?

(Quran 5:64):
“The Jews say: “Allah’s hand is tied up.” Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them We have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief.”

If the Jews say that Allah’s hands are tied up then they should be cursed. Any one who says Allah’s hands are tied should be cursed. Same as some one says your God (Father’s) hand are tied up, he should also be cursed. What is wrong with it?

(Quran 3:78):
“There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues: (as they read) you would think it is a part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say, “That is from Allah,” but it is not from Allah: it is they who tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it!”

You christians know what the Jews have been doing most of time. What they did to Jesus. They are your predecessors and seniors.
They were not very pious people. So if they were hiding part of the truth then it was bad. Was it not?

(Quran 5:42):
“(They are fond of) listening to falsehood, of devouring anything forbidden. If they do come to thee, either judge between them, or decline to interfere. If thou decline, they cannot hurt thee in the least. If thou judge, judge in equity between them. For Allah loveth those who judge in equity.”

My reply is same as above.

(Quran 5:82):
“Strongest among men in enmity to the Believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the Believers wilt thou find those who say, “We are Christians”: because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.”

(Quran 4:46):
"Of the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places, and say: “We hear and we disobey”; and “Hear, may you not hear;” and “Ra’ina”; with a twist of their tongues and a slander to Faith. If only they had said; “We hear and we obey”; and “Do hear”; and “Do look at us”: it would have been better for them, and more proper; but Allah hath cursed them for their Unbelief; and but few of them will believe. "

I do not understand what is required here. I can say nothing. Please make it brief.

(Quran 4:47):
“O ye People of the Book! believe in what We have (now) revealed, confirming what was (already) with you, before We change the face and fame of some (of you) beyond all recognition, and turn them hindwards, or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath-breakers, for the decision of Allah must be carried out.”

Thank you my brother sam_777 for ur references.so i was correct that trinity isn’t matter.but matter is islam.who don’t accept islam or muhammed they are illicit and cursed in islamic view point.so not monotheism but muhammed came 1st in islamic view point.“obey muhammed neither you are cursed and though you are cursed so you will go to hell”.its the islamic theory.

There is no need for you to beleive in Muhammad or to obey him. Just be a good christian. You will not go to hell. But don’t do what you are doing against Muhammad. that is not your duty. Don’t do anything that Jesus did not do.
Jesus taught you to love your enemy. That means love everybody. So if the Muslims are your enemies (please consider them as your enemies) then you should show that you love the Muslims.

Don’t be a Muslim. Just follow what you believe to be right. If you make a wrong decision then remember that your children may suffer upto many generations because of your wrong steps. That is all. So do not worry.

Sam I know about Mathew 28 and acts 2. I was telling that when you do not believe that Your God gave blessings through messengers to any other nation of the world except the Israelists, then it is not good of you to run to them to give any message.

If Your God did not find them fit for any message in the long past time and never remembered them then there is no use going to them to preach them anything!

You see, we Muslims believe that Allah sent messengers to every nation of the world. So we can go and preach to them. You are rather late with your Mathew and acts. Seems to be an after thought of your God.

Yup. That’s exactly what one forum Moderator in a secular forum said. Then she turned around and said those who did not accept Mohammad’s teachings are in danger of condemnation to hell. When i asked her if blessed people like Mother Theresa (who served alot of poor Muslim families) would also go to hell, she said it was a possibility.

I’m pretty sure if the poor Muslim families of Kolkata were to come to know of what the Moderator said, they would be very unforgiving towards the Moderator. What she said was utterly horrible. Even the most horrible anti-Catholics i knew from that forum could not bring themselves to condemn a woman like Blessed Mother Theresa to hell.

You seem to like mother Teressa. I do not know what faith she belonged. Was she married or not? Did she have children? Where are her children now? She was a welfare worker. That is sure.

Was she a believer or an atheist? We cannot judge her. God will judge her and give her good reward for her good work if she was believing in God (Whatever the faith).

Example: If she was a christian or a Jew or a Muslim or a Hindu or a Budhist, believer in God, she has nothing to fear. i.e. becaus eshe was doing the good work in service of mankind. I can’t say more than that. What I said is according to the teaching of the Quran.

She may not getthe full benefit of salvation if she did not believe in Muhammad. But Still Muhammad had said that such peaceful people doing befitting deeds need have no fear. That was the teaching of Muhammad himself from God.

I heard Scott Hahn talking about his experience with attempting to debate a Muslim scholar on the Trinity.
He said something I admttedly had never thought of. The Muslim scholar took great umbrage at Dr Hahn when he spoke about God as our Father and Christ as the son of God.
Now, it did not surprise me that the Muslims do not believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God.
What surprised me was that Muslims are offended by the concept of God as our loving Father. As I understood from Dr. Hahn, Muslims believe that Allah is a Master and they are his slaves. That does not mean that he is not merciful sometimes, or loving, or just. But they arej ust not loved by Allah as Christians know God our Father’s love.
The example given by the Muslim was about his dog. The Scholar said he loved his dog very much. But that he was moving to a place that did not accept pets. But rather than giving his dog away he was chosing to have his dog put down. It was his property after all.
I was of course appalled at this.
God being our Father implies the love of a parent for a child. And a loving parent will do anything to try to help their child. But a loving parent would never treat a child as a slave. We know this from the story of the prodigal son. We are certain of it when we know Christ died for our sins.
So, my question is why on earth would one choose to worship a god such as Allah who considers you a slave and posession when the true God and father of us all reaches out His hand to all who will take it and embraces us as a child returned to Him??

We do not reject Judaism or Christianity. We accept them and admit them. It is the christianity that does not admit Islam or Muhammad or Quran.

Planten, if you really believe this you’re in a very small minority amongst your fellow Muslims…

Anyhow, to say this and also claim that Christians/Jews books are corrupted is a direct contradiction. You can’t have it both ways.
