Sondland changes everything

Gordan Sondland’s testimony is the game changer. He will implicate Trump, Rudy and Bolton as active participants in the persuit of Trump’s persuit of an investigation of Biden by the Ukraine to personally benefit the campaign of the president and to foist blame for the 2016 election attack on the Ukraine and away from Putin and Russia.
 
I would say he’s the only person coming out of this with his integrity intact
 
I thought Bolton stopped a meeting with the Ukrainians and Sondland when Sondland brought up the need for investigations, and later said he wasn’t going to part of the “drug deal”.
 
It is hard to believe how directly Trump is implicated. All the major payers in the WH including the VP had marching orders on the quid pro quo. Schiff elicited the element facts of a crime

Please don’t call it “the” Ukraine. It makes it sound like a mere region. Ukraine is a country. It’s not “the” Canada or “the” Israel.

I think that has been claimed. Obviously Trump made Biden a major issue with a bunch of his top people

I think that’s why Bolton is hedging his bets by wanting a court to tell him he has to testify. I don’t think he wants to be part of anything that takes Trump down, but neither does he want his reputation smashed to pieces at the altar of Trump.

I have no idea how Bolton ever ended up back at the White House. If there was an architect of the military interventionism of the GWB presidency, it was Bolton. If Trump was against foreign wars, why on Earth did he even bring in a guy who pretty much wanted to go to war with everyone?

I thought the official Republican line was that extorting an investigation of a political rival from a foreign ally was totally normal. I think the “deny it happened” stage has passed now.
 
Shooting people on 5th Ave is a big nothing burger to Trump’s voters. So says Trump. So I assume you are right about them
 
It has to be a circus if we’re forced to believe no one in Ukraine noticed that they weren’t getting the $400 million for several months. I would think some collector would be checking on this daily.
 
Indeed, it was a matter of life and death, according to several of the witnesses.
