Watch how you use your time!
(I hope this topic only applies to a very few of us, but just in case ...)
I've SLOWLY come to notice that I am wasting far too much time sitting at the computer, mostly defending the faith -- all the while trying to avoid the prideful tendency to want to win an argument rather than simply saying what I feel needs to be said.
After Mass today I exchanged a few sentences with an acquaintance (who is becoming a friend, possibly). We agreed that much time spent online is nothing but a distraction from what really matters: our spiritual growth.
What I feel I ought to be doing is spending at least the same amount of time in prayer as I do debating strangers on Facebook. I have learned to try not to watch too many controversial videos, but some of these political things in Canada ... well it gets tough.
My caution: pay more attention to prayer and spiritual reading (even if you are reading online) than you do on debating strangers, or just allowing yourself to get upset, on the computer.
