Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

I LOVE THAT ADVICE! one time i got nervous for something and i imagined Mary with me and i felt better. Its happened a few times. I never thought of doing that in Confession though. I will deff. do that! And i love Mother Mary. I started praying the Rosary over a year ago and have wwpre the Miraculous Medal for almost a year! 😃 thank you!
Yes, she wants to help and will be with you if you ask her to. I have had several experiences where I cried out to her when I was feeling very terrible and things changed for me. It was like having a hug from my mother. I started asking for her help even more often when my confessor suggested this because I was having a lot of trouble resisting some bad thoughts. When I am at my weakest moments I say “Mother Mary, please help”. The thoughts go away quickly. I pray you will ask her to help you get to confession tomorrow. God bless you Maegan.

Mother, please send angles to continually watch over Maegan and ask our Lord to grace her with his presence and love. Please also ask him to reveal himself to her as she reads through the book of John. Please help her to get to confession this weekend and make a good confession. Ask our Lord to guide the confessor and help her to experience the joy of reconciliation. Amen.

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

Is it a sin for me to cut with no intentions of stopping. Because i see that i really DONT want to get better from it in a way…i have a weird thing where i WANT to be in pain. I like being sick ( i like the feeling) i like to hurt myself (cutting) i just sit around depressed. Now i know i cant ask for medocal advice (so i wont) but is this mindset sinful? Thanks!!also i have had my self injury for almost 5 years, and depressive issues for 3. (Just so you know this isnt a new thing)

O Faithful Virgin and glorious martyr, St. Philomena, who works so many miracles on behalf of the poor and sorrowing, have pity on me. Thou knowest the multitude and diversity of my needs. Behold me at thy feet, full of misery, but full of hope. I entreat thy charity, O great Saint! Graciously hear me and obtain from God a favorable answer to the request which I now humbly lay before thee…

that MaeganFlinchum1 be healed of all physical, mental and spiritual ailments

I am firmly convinced that through thy merits, through the scorn, the sufferings and the death thou didst endure, united to the merits of the Passion and death of Jesus, thy Spouse, I shall obtain what I ask of thee, and in the joy of my heart, I will bless God, Who is admirable in His Saints. Amen.

St. Philomena, pray for her!

Maegan, I really am not sure. I have never experienced this. But, when I was younger, I would sometimes stack my fingers onto each other in a way that was painful. I liked the pain, and I wanted them to break. I also used to smoke and drink. And I was promiscuos. I did these things because I did not feel that anyone loved me. Some of the behaviors deadened the pain. Others made me feel loved. It took a long time for me to want to stop doing these things. And then it was hard once I decided to stop.

Since you have been doing this since you were 8, I am sure it will be extremely difficult for you. Even if the behavior is not a sin, it isn’t good for you. And, it tells me there is something inside of you that hurts. I think maybe the pain on the outside deadens the pain on the inside. Does that make sense? Jesus can help with this. Please tell the priest about the cutting when you got to confession. Make sure he understands how long it has been going on and what, if any, medical treatment you are receiving. He should be able to tell you if it is a sin or not and to give you guidance. Please ask him.

My own daughter is 9. She has anxiety and depression and was having a lot of intrusive thoughts. She has problems with compulsive behaviors too, but therapy and medication have helped her a lot. And, so I have to tell you to please ask an adult to help you to get some medical treatment if you haven’t. Although I know this probably isn’t what you want to hear, as a mother, I feel I need to say this. I would not want my daughter to go through this alone. And, I am worried you aren’t getting the help and support you need.

Please ask Mother Mary to be with you to help you today and every day. She and our Lord love you no matter what. God bless you!

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed that St. Dymphna should be invoked by thousands of clients as the patroness of nervous and mental disease and have brought it about that her interest in these patients should be an inspiration to and an ideal of charity throughout the world. Grant that, through the prayers of this youthful martyr of purity, those who suffer from nervous and mental illness everywhere on earth may be helped and consoled. I recommend to You in particular those for whom we now pray: *Maegan *

Be pleased to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna and of Your Blessed Mother. Give those whom I recommend the patience to bear with their affliction and resignation to do Your divine will. Give them the consolation they need and especially the cure they so much desire, if it be Your will. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Loving Jesus, let your merciful heart touch this touch so that it provides her with the necessary comfort, healing and eternal love.
