**In my experience, this has not been the case. Actually, with all of the practicing homosexuals that I once knew, I only knew one couple that had been “together” for more than a year (and I think it was maybe 5 years). **
Someone else posted about their son who had been pro-choice and pro-homosexual “marriage” and later repented, becoming pro-life and very orthodox. This is also very close to what happened to me. I used to laugh at protesters outside of abortion clinics. I was very supportive of Vermont and Massaschusetts when they passed “civil ceramony” laws, that I felt wasn’t far reaching enough. This was all before I came into the Catholic Church, but I still had quite a few remaining doubts and questions, but praying that God help me bend my will to his, and not his will to mine, has helped me not only accept, but understand, the teachings of the Church. Again, I wish to echo the sentiments of “never say never”, because that’s precisely what happened to me. “I will never change my view on this”… famous last words.
