I have not met any of those Catholics yet.

I am sorry.

I understand that many Catholics have their head in the sand over this. They especially don’t like it when non-Catholics remind them of such realities.

Sorry.

I cannot worry about it.

If they don’t see the problem, then it can never be repaired…and that is exactly what we find.

LOL.

Actually, the vast majority of Catholics themselves do not know their faith. This is another problem too many Catholics choose to deny in public.

The odds are that ANY Catholic leaving or staying in the RCC won’t know all the complicated doctrines and dogmas. It is just statistically a fact.

BTW, I am so sorry and saddened that you find the inspired Word of God to be “deceiving.” That is truly unfortunate.

I am also sorry that you felt the need for such hostility when responding to my post. I don’t think that is necessary, but maybe I have inadvertantly hit some deep seated button I was not aware of.
We’l have plenty of you to challange us.
I was never excommunicated from the Church, I hope I didn’t bring that onto you.

THE WORD OF GOD IS NOT DECEIVING AND STANDS TRUE

One of the devils main tools is deceit.
Temptation wouldn’t be so appealing if it DIDN’T LOOK RIGHT–GOOD------OR FUN

Bring it on!

Oh! ouch! a shot right between the eyes!

I think you misunderstood what I was laughing at. I was laughing at Church Militant’s comment that he is part of the Tiber swim patrol. I was not laughing at anything anyone has said.:o

I don’t think he was trying to get a laugh, I think he was serious.
But being serious or not is your peroggative 🤷 Sorry Dessert

Don’t sweat it my friend, I knew what you were saying.🙂 Lemme know if and when you need an assist and I’ll dive right in. 👍

You just did in your post:

“a Catholic to reject the Church is rejecting Jesus Christ”

Now Scripture is abundantly clear about what happens to those who reject Jesus Christ, and I assumed you were aware of this as well.
Yes but I am not God, I am not the one who is rejecting Jesus. I am only invoking the words of Jesus Christ. He made it pretty clear what happens to those who reject his teachings, and whom he pass down to his Apostles, and their successors. I have no authority who goes to hell. God does. I do not know what is the heart of men (and women); only God knows.

I do say this. Any Catholic who fully acknowledges and rejects all of the Catholic Church teachings is putting their soul in grave danger.
So again you claim that all those that have left Catholicism are damned.
Am I God? No. If the Ex-Catholic knows the truth of the Catholic Church and fully rejects the Church’s teachings is guilty of rejecting Jesus Christ. Let’s say an Ex-Catholic who left the Church because he is lacking the full understanding of the doctrine like the real presence of Jesus, he is not at fault, because he never fully understand it.

Many Ex-Catholics left because they felt the Church is not friendly compared to Protestant Churches, which has a more deep fellowship. Catholic Mass focuses on receiving the Lord in the Mass, and it isn’t a social event or get together to socialized. Catholic Mass is worship to God.
For how else can one be saved if they are not in the Body of Christ? Christ’s Body is the Ark.
They can be saved if they live by the teaching of Jesus Christ not just by having faith.
Is this your own opinion, or are you repeating the traditional and historical RC doctrine that has changed somewhat since Vat II?
I am invoking what has been professed by the Catholic Church which states, “there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church.”

The Catholic Church has not abandon that and that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church does say that those outside the Church “not through the fault” of their own can be saved provided that those who seek Christ in other Christian community live with full charity of a Christian life.
That means the majority of Catholics are damned too.
If they do not change their ways, yes because many of the Caferia Catholics do not believe nor practice their faith.
I would hesitate to equate the RC Magisterium with God Himself, but I know that is the RC mindset.
I’ll only repeat what Jesus said in Luke. “He who rejects you, rejects the me. He who rejects me, rejects the one who sent me.”

Conclusion, I want to make it clear there is hope for Non-Catholic Christians that they can be saved. However, if an Ex-Catholic fully acknowledges all of the teachings of the Catholic Church concerning faith and moral, and rejects them will be liable to Jesus’ judgement on the Last Day.

Church Militant and dessert,

I pray that all Ex-Catholics do return to the Catholic Church. I do not believe they are schmatic or heretical, but are misguided souls; our separated brothers and sisters in Christ.

Tonight, let us pray the rosary for their conversions. Who is for it? I am willing to wait til my dying days to convert all Protestants back to Catholic faith.

They seek Jesus Christ. I know their zeal. Yet they do not realized the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. When we go to Mass, we received the Lord Jesus Christ! It doesn’t get more personal than that. They seek a personal relationship with Jesus. We received daily at Mass and most of the time weekly for those who can only attend Sunday Mass.

👍 I will pray with you it is 1pm here and I am jumping around to diff threads and then got to the doc and then food shop and then eat, I usually say rosary about 9p here or so because I am off work tonight.

Something about the prescence of all the faithful in my CC even that very day I returned. I was asked when did I realize and I didn’t know what to say but the Lord was there and not at the other churches. Maybe because I was in MY obedience but I was never excommunicated and God does not leave us He waits and of course we all have a chance even till our last breath.

I just want to cry because I see the ex-C where I was like looking through a window,. I can’t judge but if you were a castaway or really more like marrooned or lost in a maze but lots of people around in any of those situations you just want to scream just go back one day and try once more.

They are deceived and a fog over their eyes so see I did not say blinded. And they may have to remove themselves from the ones they are following.

So there are those that can be saved outside of the Catholic Church (the Body of Christ)?

You do understand that that is against Catholic dogma (extra ecclesiam nulla salus), right?
You do understand that the Church knows that there are those out of the Church which can be saved…it is not against Catholic dogma…you should actually do your research. Maybe you should actually read the Catechism or the Canon and not make assumptions.
Maybe you should also read a Catholic.com article on the subject.

You are wrong.

CCC 847 This affirmation is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church:
Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience – those too may achieve eternal salvation.1

There is absolutely no way you can know that.
…except that she was one of them once…
She’s not saying all Protestants don’t truly worship Jesus Christ. She’s saying the denominations she looked at didn’t have adequate worship or respect for Jesus.

My repentance started when I went back to the CC on the first Sunday. I suppose you were always a “good” son ? Dessert
No. I have failed our Lord more than I can count.

But what I never have done is juxtapose my personal failures on other people like you did in your post.

You still did not explain when our Lord gave you that spectacular revelation…

I can’t find that post? This is getting to be a long thread.
Sorry. I first realized it upon returning to the CC because I realized I had been away from the Trinity for that long.
Until I was really praying in the fullness of the Trinity I didn’t really hear the spirit. Does that help?

I was not injecting my failure s on you just expressing them. I think you took it the wrong way. Dessert

No.

I just like to compare notes with the other half of the Catholic Church…
I don’t think you have this right but I will not argue with it, the CC is not in half? It is a whole Church, you must be thinking of a pie Atom ? Dessert
