You just did in your post:
“a Catholic to reject the Church is rejecting Jesus Christ”
Now Scripture is abundantly clear about what happens to those who reject Jesus Christ, and I assumed you were aware of this as well.
Yes but I am not God, I am not the one who is rejecting Jesus. I am only invoking the words of Jesus Christ. He made it pretty clear what happens to those who reject his teachings, and whom he pass down to his Apostles, and their successors. I have no authority who goes to hell. God does. I do not know what is the heart of men (and women); only God knows.
I do say this. Any Catholic who fully acknowledges and rejects all of the Catholic Church teachings is putting their soul in grave danger.
So again you claim that all those that have left Catholicism are damned.
Am I God? No. If the Ex-Catholic knows the truth of the Catholic Church and fully rejects the Church’s teachings is guilty of rejecting Jesus Christ. Let’s say an Ex-Catholic who left the Church because he is lacking the full understanding of the doctrine like the real presence of Jesus, he is not at fault, because he never fully understand it.
Many Ex-Catholics left because they felt the Church is not friendly compared to Protestant Churches, which has a more deep fellowship. Catholic Mass focuses on receiving the Lord in the Mass, and it isn’t a social event or get together to socialized. Catholic Mass is worship to God.
For how else can one be saved if they are not in the Body of Christ? Christ’s Body is the Ark.
They can be saved if they live by the teaching of Jesus Christ not just by having faith.
Is this your own opinion, or are you repeating the traditional and historical RC doctrine that has changed somewhat since Vat II?
I am invoking what has been professed by the Catholic Church which states, “there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church.”
The Catholic Church has not abandon that and that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church does say that those outside the Church “not through the fault” of their own can be saved provided that those who seek Christ in other Christian community live with full charity of a Christian life.
That means the majority of Catholics are damned too.
If they do not change their ways, yes because many of the Caferia Catholics do not believe nor practice their faith.
I would hesitate to equate the RC Magisterium with God Himself, but I know that is the RC mindset.
I’ll only repeat what Jesus said in Luke. “He who rejects you, rejects the me. He who rejects me, rejects the one who sent me.”
Conclusion, I want to make it clear there is hope for Non-Catholic Christians that they can be saved. However, if an Ex-Catholic fully acknowledges all of the teachings of the Catholic Church concerning faith and moral, and rejects them will be liable to Jesus’ judgement on the Last Day.
