I’m sure our leadership will take the right decision. They are indeed there always monitoring what is going on.
The person blackened may have been an ex parishioner who did not want is face splashed on national TV.But as I said, for want of a professional media balance to be presented here, the Catholic Church really fell short of the mark on this one. Why go anonymous? Why couldn’t anyone be found that would speak the truth of the situation here
If I am correct, this man is actually from Caboolture, a northern suburb of Brisbane, about an hours drive away. He and a friend decided to be the catholic police and ventured in there one Sunday to report said liturgical abuses. He remained afterwards for a baptism that was being held and this is the alleged incident with the phone. He was using the phone to record everything. Fr. Kennedy had asked him to leave, the baptisimal party didn’t want him there and it was quite clear he wasn’t there in the interests of the asaid baptism taking place. As far as I know, he was under no authority to do as such, and as you said, the Church has been investigating this. I believe the Church didn’t make any comment as it would appear it had not been directed from above to do so. In fact, it seems more obvious that this has been orchestrated from others in the church who are not officially investigating this. And herein lies the problem - no proper defence was able to be given because it was directed by those wishing to remain anonymous, people who shouldn’t have been doing so in the first place on national television.**The person blackened may have been an ex parishioner who did not want is face splashed on national TV.

The Church did not present itself the best as you say but it appears to have asked the parish to ‘get back to the rubrics.’ Investigations are still current and when they are finished the Church will make a statement, not wanting to seem to prejudice things at the moment I guess.
they sit around the “Altar” (a large wooden table in he middle of the Nave) that often outside of the “mass” has chips & other food resting upon it. whilst the Old Sanctary and Altar has become the the place where the gay and Lesbian Singers use as their Choir Loft)What exactly will he lead them to? If he doesn’t believe Christ is divine, what exactly is the point of his parishoners attending Mass? What do they even do for an hour on Sunday morning?
The baptisms used two illicit formulas: "I baptise you in the name of the Creator and of the Redeemer and of the Sanctifier and "I baptise you in the in the name of the Creator and of the Liberator and of the Sustainer.
The legitimate formula is "I baptise you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’’
The chancellor of the diocese, Father Jim Spence, said the priests at the parish were ordered to revert to the traditional formula in 2004 but that some people may still be unaware their baptisms were wrongly administered.
He said he was unaware how many people it may affect. The church is currently considering whether there will be a need for those illicitly baptised to have the ritual legitimately.
"It doesn’t mean it’s invalid, it just means it’s illicit, he said.
This is a critical issue!!!Fr Spence said the illicit baptisms did not invalidate subsequent sacraments, including confirmation, penance and marriage.
Not sure what to say other than: :bigyikes:they sit around the “Altar” (a large wooden table in he middle of the Nave) that often outside of the “mass” has chips & other food resting upon it. whilst the Old Sanctary and Altar has become the the place where the gay and Lesbian Singers use as their Choir Loft)
the they recite afew prayers regurding social justice and how Jesus came to came to bring social justice (nothing about the Atonment at all)
then have Politicly correct Scripture readings that use inclusive language so women dont get offened by the Specifily Masciline Language of the Bible.
often a member of the Congration will proclam the gospel alot of times a woman will do it (even non-catholics are invited to do so)
they then proceed to use an non-Nicean Creed (once again filled with “social justice” with almost no Catholic/Christian Theology in it)
Then the Priest who doesnt like to wear prietsly vestmens predides over a non-vatican approved Eucharistic prayer and invites laymen and women and sometimes non-catholics to co-celebrate with im (& whilst ive never seen this myself i have heard of incidencts the laypeople arent just “Co-celbrating” with him, but rather the Priest doent partisipate at all.)
I know this cause I live 2 streets away from the the church in question…and went there once for mass 2 years ago…I have never been back since…and whilst this church is definatly the worst expample, its not the only place in Brisbane that is filled with herasy and error…these places include the Catherdal
other exmples of the Herasy and new age in the Brisbane Archdiocess:
