An update on my situation.
Since my return from my holiday, I have had my husband do another turn around.
He has wanted to get together and talk and I haven’t wanted to. I felt there was no point. He thinks because he is nice to me for a few weeks, then I have to suddenly decide what is happening with us. He said he didn’t want to wait forever.
I declined his offer on a few occasions to get together and talk. He was upset about that. I feel there is no point discussing anything until I see some real change in him and of course as soon as he doesn’t get what he wants he gets nasty again.
My mobile was at home so I sent him a msg on my daughters phone, asking him what time he was dropping our son off. (as we were out) I got no reply. Then another asking if he wanted him longer as he had a late sleep. No reply.
About an hour later, I got an abusive message from him, on my daughter’s phone! I was furious!
I rushed home as he said he was waiting at my place and I said, ‘Thanks for reminding me why we aren’t together’
Not very nice I know, but truthful.
He really does not get that he should be civil and/or nice for good, for me to consider a future with him. He is so changeable. At any given time I do not know if I will have the nice person or the monster. He really does not know how to change this situation for the better and at the moment I am so glad I didn’t waver although I have been feeling very sad about things. Missing him and sad about the fact that our gorgeous little boy is most probably my last child. I am having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that I probably won’t ever be pregnant again.

He does not know me at all. Not a bit. He accuses me of things that every single person I know, would not dream of saying about me. It really is very strange, and hurtful that my own husband does not know me as a person or who I am.
Anyway,lots more has happened but too much to write about.
I am sort of glad that things have happened this way or I was in danger of letting down my guard, just a bit. That would not have been good.
But I am still praying for the healing of his mind and for his conversion.

Thank you stadre. I hope and pray that your marriage will be restored to God’s beautiful plan for marriages. I think the emotional pain of these struggles are the most difficult to cope with. One desperately trying to hold onto a marriage and the other not caring. But I have found over the years that God is the only One to depend on. I am not as disappointed in those who are meant to love me and don’t. Although it hurts, it doesn’t hurt me as much as it used to. A bit desensitised to it all, I think.

It is continuously uplifting to me that “strangers” care so much for someone they only know online, and that you would pray so diligently for our situation.
