TIs a lightning rod. If one isn’t to speculate on the supernatural, then one also shouldn’t dismiss it as a common occurrence. Both are speculation. Which Is why I said, whatever happened, simply did. Post # 40.

It is where we all are (and as unique as our Souls in The Holy Spirit) at various stages on our Soul Journeys with God and Jesus as to our interpretations and each to be respected (In Jesus I Trust: I used to think exactly the way you are at present until I read about other people who are kindhearted and givers in life that were struck (one of whom is now deaf)! The guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time in a paddock. Who knows it also could be evil interfering at the end of the strike just prior to striking Earth on some occasions.

Similarly, in relation to Floods, Droughts and Fires. Our Lady Mother Mary brings the winds, God and Jesus the rains, while other climatic conditions play the normal/general part at the time of each Season in each Country and State annually. It is up to us all to pray for protection of His Earth and all Children along with the protection against Floods, Fires and Droughts (we need the Lightning to bring rain from the storms (unless a dry storm) so I tend to omit praying about the Lightning.

My premise is God is not a deistic entity and that nothing happens without a prupose, even if we cannot understand the meaning.

I believe the stories said it happened within 6 hours of the Pope’s decision.

I was in error I am sure, I’m sure it happens from time to time, it seems some people assert a lightning rod is up there.

Hi Jharek, this is my relationship with Mother Mary and Jesus through Her Divine Holy Rosary and The Jesus Rosary; every relationship and our beliefs are unique (ie different and with different messages) including our interpretation of Jesus Holy Bible Scriptures.

Our Lady Mary comes through strongly to me through Jesus’ and God’s winds and breezes during many prayer sessions throughout each week.

Its amazing how St Peters dominates the landscape
Its 500 years old.
It can be seen for mile.
Like the Empire State building it has been struck by lightning thousands of times.
Still a great photo if real.

I went to Rome for the first time last year. I was trying to find the Vatican. I asked someone, and after giving him a coin, he said it’s standing right behind me across the street. pshh. At least I was close to it!
