People make deals everyday - how is that outside of the realm of possibilities? If no SYG, whatā€™s his explanation for the killing? Simple self-defense? He did admit to shooting someone - for all those who think only the prosecution has anything to proveā€¦

You donā€™t get to physically attack people just because they are following you. If that were the case there would be fights at every red light.

Sam, Sam, follow the thread. I was responding to the suggestion that Martin was not running, thatā€™s all. As to physical attacks, red lights and tales from adults indulging their superhero fantasiesā€¦those were not the point of my post.

My apologies, I meant Zimmerman. He admitted to following Martin - Martin was running, therefore he was either also running or he has X-ray vision.

Your logic is flawed.

One need only go to a soccer game to see the hole in the logic.

No one in the stands needs to run to see the players.
Even though the players are running.

Are you suggesting that by follow, Zimmerman meant ā€˜keeping an eye onā€™? Or are you saying that at soccer games you get onto the field and follow players around? Stay safe now, you will definitely be in the wrong if any altercations ariseā€¦šŸ˜‰

What I am saying is that it is not true that a running suspect means that someone following him was likewise running.

Then explain how it is physically possible to do so considering the environment and the time of day in which the incident occurred.

Sure.
At night, in the rain, I can see people on my street.
They can run all the way to the end of the street (a distance that will take the average man a couple of minutes), and I still have a clear view of them from the end of my driveway.
Should they turn onto the next street, I need only walk about 10 yards to keep them in sight for another several seconds.

Until I started exercising earlier this year, a walk down my driveway would have resulted in obvious shortness of breath.
