I thought the movement to ordain women was pretty small, but one of our posters states otherwise.
I think it is extremely small. All who have attempted such stuff end up outside the Church and independent.

Depends if we;re talking simply about those who want female priests or those who want that as well as all of the other changes I mentioned (I tend to see where there is one issue there are all of the others too). There are plenty of catholics out there who want all of those changes…and are sticking around in the hopes that it will change. They hope that the new Pope will help bring this about.
 
I would like to join in the standing ovation of the Holy Father. :clapping:

His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI has been such an inspiration to me as I made my journey back to the Church, which began in 2009. I have learned so much from our Shepherd who is also a teacher… God Bless Benedict XVI and he will always hold a special place in my heart.
