I read this thread and I can’t help but think…Starbucks is getting an awful lot of publicity over this. My goodness, it’s coffee. There are a lot bigger things to get upset about. Thing is, more often than not, we are inadvertently supporting someone whose belief system differs from ours.

Amen to that, Katie! :yup:

I guess you have no issues with suporting companies that teach and practice things that go against your faith…that is your issue not mine…I was replying to the OP…Starbucks supports ABORTIONS and GAY’s
i’m plannin on applying to starbucks. i’m only 16, and i don’t plan on staying there as a full time job. and i say apply. it’ll be a good job, and you’ll meet alot of people.

i don’t understand one thing though. i am fully against abortion, but why do people tend to emphazize ‘oh there for GAYS.’ we’re treating them as social outcasts. sure, its wrong to be gay, i understand that, but i’m sure jesus wouldn’t dare turn away a gay man or woman, and i’m positive he wouldn’t turn them away.

just had to get my imput on that.

I have a feeling that if Jesus was living on earth today, He would be sitting in Starbucks, having a latte, and talking to the people around Him. After all, wasn’t He criticized for “eating and drinking with sinners?”
agreed.👍

.
It’s not wrong to be gay. It’s the homosexual acts that are wrong because they are outside the bond of marriage. I’m sure Jesus wouldn’t turn them away. I don’t think any of us would. It’s the gay porn, prostitution and general push for the normalization of a homosexual lifestlyle that I have a problem with. That’s what the “gay pride” parades are all about.

okay, i understand what your saying:) it just seems that sometimes, people take anger and hatred out on the people, rather than the act.
