Great speech and guests - all the guests. Was happy for Rush Limbaugh. However his diagnosis turns out he will always have this special night to cherish.
 
Listened to it on the radio.

I thought it was a good speech. Kept my attention throughout, which state-of-the-union speaches seldom do. Trump spoke in a presidential manner I think.

Honestly, I thought time spent on the war on terrorism went on a bit long. But the message of our resolve needed to be stated.

Missed Nancy being Nancy, bless her heart.
 
We live in a highly divided nation. That entire event was divided. For me, the division became depressing

I think she’s at the end of her rope, her leadership of the House has been one failure after another for the Dem party.

I’m not sure what you mean by “why exactly”. Did you hear the news about what he announced Monday on his show? If not do a search. Other than that I don’t have anything else to offer to your question.
 
A sufficient reason is found in the first criterion, I think: “for especially meritorious contribution to (1) the security or national interests of the United States…”
 
If the division is depressing, why do you fight so hard to create division. So many of your comments regarding those of you who believe the Dems and those of us who support our country and President Trump. You seem to believe those of us who support Trump are less than you, not as smart, not as informed, not as American. You’ve made many comments like this. (And no, I’m not going to cite the posts where you’ve made, you know you made them)
 
One of the best SOTU speeched I have heard or watched. Many touching and inspiring stories.

Nancy needs to retire. She showed her immaturity and
I thought it unbecoming for someone who is Speaker
of the House. She has the need to be the center of
attraction.
