Come on. Jesus has a whole bunch to say about this. Reuniting should be about those people, not how wonderful Trump is reuniting those people. Safe to say Trump got his reward here not heaven.
 
It is her House. Trump was her guest. Frankly listening to his jurors yelling 4 more years when they render a verdict as jurors tomorrow was mind boggling. Talk about public display of oath abuse.

Forgive me for thinking it is the peoples’ House, not Pelosi’s private property. But I suppose if someone thinks she has appropriated a portion of the capitol as her own private property, she’s free to be rude to guests and perhaps tear up their coats when they take them off.
 
I didn’t say she had legal title. She is the speaker of the people’s house. She invited the joint session. She welcomes the president to her house.
He is A GUEST and all of the pomp and decorum make it clear.

Actually, she didn’t. She insulted him right off the bat, in the introduction itself.

As I recall it, the Sgt at arms doesn’t beg her to let the president come into the chamber, it is simply announced. In addition, the VP brings the Senators over from the Senate. She doesn’t own the House chamber any more than I do.

If you recall,all NP said was here is the POTUS.She left out the remainder of the traditional welcoming proclamation.She behaved in a very unprofessional and petulant manner.

His speech was full of lies. His DOJ has already won a legal decision eliminating pre-existing. It has not gone into effect because of a stay on appeal, then remand.

It’s not clear whether PresidentvTrump intentionally ignored her handshake or just didn’t see it.Regardless,she showed a complete lack of respect for a time honored tradition in re to the annual S of U Address,those who were present as well as the American people as a whole.
 
I think if she said it was her “great pleasure” to introduce the POTUS we would all know it wasn’t the case.
