Okay…that about wraps it up!What what repair do you think I mean as a Catholic?? You are one too so you can figure some out.

Society has been in need of repair since the day Adam sinned and blamed his wife, and Eve blamed the serpent for her sin.I don’t think that’s pessimism so much as realism. Society is in need of repair
Yeah, we went off topic there. How is it that these reforms will prevent further children from being BORN out of WEDLOCK?
All three are issues. The supposition here is that black children are fatherless because of racism or incarceration rather than male irresponsibility.
Some people will blame racism; and have problem with the so-called leadership at the top. That is a fair estimation, but I still tend to think that the more prevalent problem in black communities vis a vis children being born out of wedlock is sexual irresponsibility (both partners are to blame, but maybe males more so because no one is holding them accountable to bear responsibility for the rearing of their child).
I could argue women have total control of the situation.both partners are to blame, but maybe males more so
One could also argue that widespread birth control use has freed women to achieve their greatest potential.Humanae vitae pretty much prophesied what would happen with the legal and widespread use of birth control, i.e., women would be objectified.
One would be wrong. One could also argue that widespread birth control use has freed women to achieve their greatest potential.
I disagree with your premise. Women are not objectified in every relationship that uses contraception. An unplanned pregnancy can derail a woman’s plans. How free are women when they are objectified rather than loved?
No, I’m not. I know this is a Catholic site, and I’ve been a Catholic my whole life, but for some women having children is not “achieving their greatest potential”.One would be wrong.
What more needs to be said? No, I’m not. I know this is a Catholic site, and I’ve been a Catholic my whole life, but for some women having children is not “achieving their greatest potential”.
When we were fertile we used NFP. I am not an advocate of artificial birth control. BUT, if out-of-wedlock births are such a scourge, then one must at least acknowledge that birth control can play a part for some people.
The part where you state an opinion. I suspect you aren’t considering my post a mic-drop moment. What more needs to be said?
