Steve and Renata- Please save our marriage

Lord, we petition You for a restoration of this marriage, secure in the truth of Your promises. Soften their hearts and draw them back together, as You drew them together before. Lord, they are not two, but rather one flesh, and Angels weep until the bond is healed. We patiently pray for healing, trusting You for the good of the entire world. This we pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

I am considering leaving this forum. It is obvious no amount of prayers can save my marriage. Steve continues to be hateful and reminds me how he will never forgive me for anything I have done. Yet, he fails, to remember his infidelity.

I am loosing hope and am grateful for all the suport I have received but its obvious, he doesn’t care for me about me or our marriage.

I don’t know what else to do…:crying:

I am tired of all his neglect.

Renata,

Prayers can sometimes take awhile to “break through” the evil circumstance that surrounds the reception of the grace through prayer. So, don’t give up yet. God may have His miracle right around the corner and you could miss it!

Even if you leave the forum, we won’t stop praying for you!

Father, help Renata to see that she is experiencing Your plan, which is not at its end. Graciously strengthen her in faith and in fortitude to bear with You as Your plan unfolds before her. Grant her a renewal of patience, that she may travel this road with You, as You have stood with her each day of her life. As well, soften Steve’s heart, as ice melts before the sun, so that, once softened, his heart will return to the love and fidelity he promised. We ask this through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Our God, through the love and merit of Jesus and Mary, I offer You all my spouse’s good deeds, sacrifices and trials, in prayer for his salvation, fulfilment, happiness and peace.

Foster him as Your own child, for if he truly knew You, he would be a loving, obedient son.

I offer every frustration and disappointment, all sadness and suffering of his life, together with his pleasures, satisfactions, and achievements. I offer him to You, united in that terrible hour that Jesus cried out to You, “My God, my God, why have You abandoned me?” Thus may his sufferings be powerful prayer for souls. In Your mercy, please unite him with the Mystical Body so that even without his knowledge his life is a living prayer pleasing in Your sight.

If in any way, I fail to convey Your love to him, or I do not enrich his life with warm gifts of my nature, please forgive me and heal him. Guide me to give him the love, joy and goodness that you have united us to share, and lead him to love me freely and honestly.

Please forgive and overcome his cynicism and doubt. Open him to Your Spirit. Let him experience Your love in his life, so that he enters into sacramental faith and dedicated Christian ministry. Grant him resurrection with Your Son Jesus.

I am so sick and tired of everything. I really wish God woud step in and make STeve a loving husband again.

I know EXACTLY how you feel! But, perhaps, something is in the way (hindering God from dispersing his graces). Pray that the Lord’s healing light will flow through your dh, and that he will accept the grace he needs.

I will continue praying for you always!
