If I thought he had poor character that would make him perfectly suited for the office.
 
Well, I find it strange they wanted to run this interview on Palm Sunday. Was it intentional to air it as Holy Week begins?

I guess it makes no difference that this is
being shown during Holy Week.

Just because you feel Trump brought public criticism on himself based on his behavior (whether true or not) why such self righteous indignation?
 
The age old rhetoric turns out to be correct then. What exactly is half hearted in my condemnation of Trump? You need to read more closely. You are battling against a windmill of the false notion I think Trump is of great moral character and hasn’t done things which degrade public morals.

And most nations.

The enemies of Christianity sometimes take it more seriously than its followers. They are sometimes more keenly aware of religious holidays than Christians.

I don’t find it strange given that our culture is highly secular. I personally don’t think they gave it much thought. You are the only one who seems offended that it ran on Palm Sunday.

The same question can be asked of you, why such righteous indignation?
 
Palm Sunday was always a very special celebration growing up as it signaled the beginning of Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem and the events leading up to the crucification and the resurrection.

The fact the media and the liberals chose the evening of Palm Sunday to air this interview just shows how sick they are.
 
On the contrary, I think they chose this particular night on purpose. It was not by chance.

A free pass? Really? Clinton was impeached.

But if you think Trump should get the same treatment as Clinton, you should contact your congressperson and demand that he or she start impeachment proceedings.

It can’t be demonstrated since no one will say, ‘we chose Palm Sunday to undermine Christianity’. But if you think people in power don’t make such choices you are wrong.

I understand the sacredness of Holy Week. And if I were a better person, I should probably fast from all media consumption during Holy Week. On the other hand, I am not sure how watching the 60 minutes interview is worse than posting in this thread. Perhaps you can explain.
 
I am just pointing out how powerful the media is at manipulating the public.
 
Right, it is opinion. I’ve never said anything different. It isn’t really ‘heavy on the conspiracy’. It is a recognition of the demonstrable hatred many non Christians have for Christianity. That shouldn’t be objectionable given the long list of martyrs. It also shouldn’t be objectionable that almost no one in the media is Christian. Given those two facts it isn’t hard to imagine people in power doing things to undermine the Faith.
 
Or as a friend of mine says: “Just because your paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you”.
 
Like I said. Many anti Christians take the Faith more seriously than Christians. It shouldn’t be surprising that anything against the Faith tries to invert it. That is what Satan does. That is basic Catholic teaching.
