9 out 10 most dangerous countries for a Christian are islamic countriesDear Kathleen,
There are orders and commands issued by God and orders and commands issued by man.
In 1099 when the Christian Crusades slaughtered 10,000’s Muslims in Jersalem who had sought refuge can we honestly say that was the command of Jesus Christ?
Similarly these atrocities were never sanctioned by God in the Quran or by Muhammad but men using or rather misusing the name of a God.
“The Christians gave over their whole hearts to the slaughter, so that not a sucking little male child or female, not even an infant of one year would escape alive the hand of the murderer.”
Study the siege of Jerusalem. It was a massacre. Men, women and children and infants hid in a mosque yet when the attackers found them slaughtered them all.
Now I say, was this slaughter approved of by Jesus? Or the Bible? Same with Muslims slaughters. Despite the Quran only permitting self defense against murderers they played God and still do and there’s slaughter going on between Christians and Muslims to this day. On whose authority God’s or Jesus’s??
Violence and war can never be ascribed to God but rather to man and his lust for power and wealth and land.
If these atrocities were not committed with religious fanaticism then it was cold blooded murder agreed to by people whose teachings say thou shalt not kill.
My point is why always blame God for violence when the hand that holds the sword or gun is a man’s hand?
