Sudden Death of Moe's 13 Year Old Daughter - Part II

Hi All:

Just wanted to let you know that I have added another page to McKayla’s Virtual Memorial.

It took awhile to finish. Took a lot of tears. I have put down in words, our journey since the beginning of the 2007 school without McKayla. Although, it isn’t only my thoughts; I also have added snippets of our friends/family email messages that have been sent to us to help us through this nightmare.

It is long, I apologize for that … but I had a lot of ground to cover. The emails from friends are particularly special, I know for me, for I read them over and over again … because it helps in reminding me how much people care , and how McKayla’s death has rippled outside these walls at Shear Bliss Farm. Some of these are unbelievably inspirational, poetic. I have not included names, but you know who you are.

Thank you, for caring … for constantly sending us a hug, or a kiss, peace, cards, or just - we are here for you. We are here for you as well. Never forget that.

I will be putting up another page with all the quotes/emails that I have found comfort in reading during these past 10+ months. Keep you eyes peeled to update on the website.

Yep…for sure. This morning a neighbor friend of my daughter and my son in law found their 15 year old dead when they went to wake her up for school. It’s going to be hard to get through this funeral. Joe and Linda were so good and supportive when Chris died. I can’t believe we are going through this again. 😦 Pray for the repose of soul for Kelsey.

So sad! Apparently Kelsey died of a drug overdose. She has been in rehab for 6 months out patient. I can’t believe how awful they must feel. Just 15 years old and already into drugs. Now she is gone. 😦

As if that isn’t enough, my son called for prayers for the son of his best friend. He also did not wake up for school on the 12th. They life flighted him to Children’s Hospital and did CT’s etc, tests. He is in coma from a massive brain tumor. They don’t know if it is benign or cancer, but either way it is killing him unless they can figure a way to shrink it. They are afraid surgery would kill him from hemorrhage right now.😦

His name is Justin and he is 14 yo.

Oh my - horrible. I am sorry to hear this and prayers will be said.
 
Such SAD news with our young people. Praying for all of them/their souls. Moe: still keeping you in prayer and I think of you often. I hope you are still hanging in there, too. We’re all in this together. What a journey, huh? Thank God the next one will be SO much better - and permanent! Hugs,
