Moe, I could not imagine how I would respond if the Lord decided to take our only daughter. I keep you also at the top of my prayer list and hope that all the prayers from all here on the forum will help you carry this very heavy cross.

As far as the dreams go… when my uncle died about a week after his death, I had dream about him. In the dream, he asked me to pray for him and I was awaken by the alarm. I did pray for him. After a month or so later, I had another dream and he was all in white and glowed. He did not speak any words but just smiled at me. My aunt and his sister, has been praying for a dream from him or about him, but has yet to and we just had his one year anniversary in November. His eldest daughter has also had a dream about him and he spoke to her in the dream. We are the only two who have had dreams about him that we know of. I don’t understand why me, for I did not pray for it, other than to think that he was my Godfather. We were not close either. I don’t know why the Lord granted me these dreams. I have a history of the Lord speaking to me in dreams since my teens, and maybe that is it. I do believe that when we pray for something and really ask for it and thank the Lord for it, he will usually grant our prayers if it be according to His will and for our good. I will pray for the Lord to grant you this prayer you want.
Thank you … my sister dreamed of McKayla and in her dream she told McKayla you need to go to your parents … and KK said that we weren’t ready …

Not sure why … but she did dream of her … I want to see her again, even if it is in my dreams.

I am praying for you and your family. I am also praying that God grants you a dream.
Keep us posted…

Thank you … here is what Amanda’s best friend dreamed … I want to share it with everyone -

I haven’t dreamed of her yet - and it has been 28 days of desperately missing her … we are so very sad:

My McKayla Dream

o had Amanda, McKayla, Mrs. Geisinger, and me
o it was in the Geisinger’s driveway and in Mrs. Geisinger’s old car that was (black or blue?) with leather seats
o the first part had Amanda, McKayla, and me
 it was nighttime, but light enough so we could see, and Amanda, McKayla and I were hanging out in the driveway
 I could see McKayla and hear her talking, like she was alive, and Amanda knew McKayla was there, but she couldn’t see her
 I think I was helping Amanda and McKayla communicate
 McKayla was sitting in the bed of Mr. Geisinger’s dark blue and light blue pick-up truck, with her hair in a ponytail, and I think it was straight!
 Amanda looked clearer to me than McKayla, but I could see McKayla and she had a very little glow to her, I could tell she was an angel!
o the second part had Mrs. Geisinger, Amanda, McKayla, and me
 we were in the driveway in the car the whole time, and I think it was daytime
 Mrs. Geisinger was in the driver’s seat, Amanda was in the passenger seat, McKayla was behind her mom, and I was behind Amanda
 I was looking at McKayla and she was kind of half-looking at me, and half-looking at Mrs. Geisinger and Amanda
 she had straight hair up in a ponytail, like before, and that same subtle glow like before
 I was the only person that could see and hear McKayla, and I was very happy
 it was like she was alive
 but I knew she was an angel
 I think I helped McKayla talk to her mom and Amanda
 That’s it!!!

I hope this dream gives you peace that your wonderful daughter, so loved and precious, is in the arms of Christ in complete happiness.

My prayers for your family Moe are assured. Now comes the time for you to carry your message of grace and consolation to others.

Moe you and your family are still in my prayers every day at daily mass, I pray for McKayla’s soul also.

Thank you Nordar … we need them … however, there is no doubt in my mind that McKayla is in heavan … and she is happily with our Lord. I know that … I panick at times - what if there isn’t an afterlife - but deep down inside, I know she is happier than she has ever been in her life.

We just miss her desperately! 😦

Dear Moe and family,

You do not know me, but I used to work with Greg at CVS in Nashua and always thought that he was the nicest guy and knew that someday he would make an amazing father. When I ever heard about McKayla and heard her last name, I instantly wondered if she was yours and Greg’s daughter and when I saw her picture in the paper the next day, I knew she was, she looks just like Greg. I cannot even imagine the grief that you all must be feeling, I have two small children of my own, and could not for a second imagine life without them. It is hard not to doubt your faith at times like this, but this is when you need to have faith more then ever, God does not want to see us suffer he loves us so much. You must believe that he knows what is best and that he has plans for McKayla, what they are we don’t know. I know of another womant that lost her only child a beautiful 16 year old in a horrific car accident last year. Of course she is still in a incredible amount of pain, but somehow through the grace of God, is does get a little better. I think it is a great sign that you and your family are able to go to church and receive the “body of christ” because he is our saviour.

God bless and may you find peace during this most difficut time. I will be praying for you all .

Thank you - Greg is an awesome Father … we had gone through a lot to have both girls … although getting pregnant with McKayla was easier …

God’s Blessings

Do we know what Heaven is Like? I got that book … A Travel Guide to Heaven … it just doesn’t make me feel comfortable. Sounds awesome … but what is heaven really like. What is my McKayla living in … and why hasn’t she come to me yet … her mommy?

😦

Anyway, I will keep you in my prayers. I sent you an email and would love to correspond if you feel the same.

Love and prayers,
Pete
Pete - haven’t heard from you - are you and your family doing OK??? I am praying for you!!!

Moe when my sister died I didn’t dream of her for a long time maybe six months or even more. When I did finally dream of her it was wonderful in my dream but horrible waking up. You have them again for a moment and then you lose them all over again. Maybe it’s too soon. Maybe McKayla and God know you’re not ready for that kind of heartache so soon after losing her.
Even all these years later more than 20 years now, dreaming of my sister and then waking up often leaves me in tears.
It’s so hard but give it time. I’m still praying for you.

Hey Moe,

We’re doing okay. I asked my parents to pray for you and they put you on their prayer list. My wife and I are also praying for you.

Still having my ups and downs. One of my students (high school) had a picture of Justin and his funeral card on the front of her binder. As I was teaching, I glanced down and nearly lost it. It took me about 10 seconds to regain my thoughts. I think I’ll move her to the back. Ha ha.

I will send you a picture of Justin. I am hoping for a dual dream of Justin and McKayla. I have this blessed feeling that they have bonded in some way in heaven. I can’t explain it. I see McKayla babysitting Justin for some reason. I feel comforted just thinking about your sweet girl with my little guy.

Love you and praying for you,
Pete

Moe,
I prayed for you last night. Just wanted to let you know you and your family are in my prayers. Keep us posted.
Are you working at all, or is it too hard?

Thank you Lissa:

I am working bits at a time … I am at work now … but will be heading out soon … it is sooo hard.

Thank you for keeping us in pray … I am getting some pictures ready to post … when I get home.

One of McKayla’s friends put together this “Memorial Website For Her” — it is beautiful … I expect it will grow over the next month … please visit often. She was truly an amazing girl and our 13 years with her was heavan on Earth … I cried like a baby seeing this!

I signed the guestbook. What a beautiful website. I think of McKayla and your family often. Someone in Maryland prays for you!

Hi All:

I am desperately asking for prayers from all of you … our daughter McKayla went to environmental camp on this past Monday - and we got a call that she passed out. When we finally drove three hours to see her at the hospital, she had already been commended into the arms of our heavenly Father.

We are heart broken. We had her wake last night - and over 1100 people attened … it was over six hours at the wake … we buried her today — the pain is too much to bear at times.

Please, our Catholic Answers Friends, keep the Geisinger’s in your prayers … McKayla is our heavenly angel that left us for a better place … but we are left with hearts that are broken.

Please keep her Sister Amanda in your prayers … she is only a year older than her sister - they were like twins and best friends. We are beside ourselves.

Her funeral was amazing though … and she has been an instrument in bringing many people to Christ … for this we are grateful.

Please keep the Geisinger’s in your prayers … we miss her terribly and our hearts are just so very sad 😦 Ask God to help us pick up the pieces … our communities and the schools have been amazing and it has been such a humbling experience!

God’s Peace,

Moe Geisinger
Peace be with you Moe and your family
Just letting you guys know that I will keep you guys in prayer
