Dear Moe,
Still praying for you here. Keep us posted.
Love,
Lissa
I will … we heard from the medical examiner … and will be sharing that soon … we just want to inform our family first - before I send it over the airwaves …

I am not as sad as I was yesterday … cried more today - but don’t feel despair like I have been all along … so that is good.

Having her minutes away from us is good too … we see her every day … God I miss her … I miss everything about her … she was perfection … yet she had this time bomb in her that we never knew nor would we have known.

Love Moe

I visited your lovely memorial site for your daughter… she is just beautiful and it is easy to see from the guest book that in her short years she really touched so many people… how amazing.
What a awesome tribute… thank you for sharing it with us all.

She was perfection Kamz … perfection on earth … but she had an abnomality … that could have gone off anytime during her short 13 years … the only thing more horrible than losing her — would have never to have her 😦

I am so sorry to hear about this.

We may never understand why God would bring a child into our lives only to take her back so soon, the pain may make us wish that He should not have given her in the first place, but that passes the moment the memory of her makes us realise what a special gift she was.

We trust in Our Lord, and we know that we’ll not only be reunited with McKayla someday, but we’ll also know why He did this. Our life on Earth is temporary, we will live again in His glory. Till then, we poor children of Eve, will cry at His feet, praying never to stray far in our pain.

McKayla and your family will be in my prayers.

The only thing worse than losing McKayla, would have been never to have had her! We were blessed with her for 13 years … we just miss our KK.

Good morning Moe. I hope your pains lessons today! My prayers for you as always!!! I will be here for you to comfort you anytime you need me. Its awesome that Greg feels closer to God now. I sometimes feel we can only go up or down and I’d rather be up!! I’m sure thats how Greg is dealing with his grief…his closeness to God.

Hugs, Lori

Dear Moe ❤️

My computer keeps on crashing on me and freezing, so if you don’t hear from me, please know that you are in my heart, thoughts and prayers every day.

Before i could press ‘submit reply’ a black screen appeared and everything was frozen - technology! I tried to explain to you why you are not pathetic and that even though you may never comprehend how - you have lifted the veil that was over my eyes.

As for you being pathetic - **NO! ** I have been stuck in a ‘time tunnel’ with my grief. I have good days and then bang! a bad one appears. A cloud of depression still circles me, and i have been grieving for 20 months. Your loss is still so very RAW - 9 weeks is not a long time. You are consumed with grief - so natural! Please don’t be down on yourself. When depression takes over we see things differently. I have been there and am still there. One thing i regret is that i pushed my baby away in a sense. I was so consumed in my grief that i neglected him emotionally. When i would cry - at 2 years of age he would hug me and **cry with me **and ask why i was crying? When i sobbed heavily - he sobbed heavily. That broke my mum’s heart seeing her daughter and her 2 yr old grandson like that. I hugged him, i hugged him so tight i am lucky i didn’t squeeze him to death at times with the strength of hurt, pain and loss that i felt… I would just fall into a heap onto the floor and cry/shout/scream out to the world and to God… I am an extremely emotional person Moe, far too emotional. I let things affect me and maybe it’s a part of my OCD…

Every time i write about daddy, i burst into tears and sob. I am still grieving Moe. I lost all desire for intimacy with my loving, devoted husband and that makes it pretty hard to conceive another child. I cannot pray like before - I try and i can’t. I can’t concentrate. I pray for others, but not for me and what is important to me. I talk to God, and i know that is a form of prayer but i don’t know why i cannot pray properly at home. I go to Mass every Sunday and have my beautiful book for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament “I The Lord Am With You Always” with me and read my favourite prayers and look like the perfect Catholic mother… kneeling, praying etc… but to be honest i feel like the biggest** hypocrite** that God has ever had in his Church. I know God loves me and *no matter * what i say, do, think or feel - he will forgive me. I take him for granted these days and i don’t know why. I broke my mother’s heart by not living for so many months as she puts it. I was dazed and confused, walking and not getting anywhere, i was a mess, thin to start with and then lost 5 kilograms and went to skin and bone. I just didn’t care about life. Please don’t make the same mistakes that i made.

You hear sad stories every day - but yours touched me in a deep way. I joined CAF and not long after read your post and i was drawn to your grief. In all your pain you still offer to pray for other people - that is a Grace from God too my friend, and don’t you ever forget it! You offered to ask your daddy to look after mine - you touched my heart soooo deeply with that gesture, it brings tears to my eyes as i type this. We never see ourselves as others do, please trust me when i tell you that God sent me to CAF for a reason. I am a softie, but it was more than that, as i said before God has spoken to my heart and i am confident in saying that even though i do not know you i know that you are a loving, kind, loyal, devoted and warm woman, mother, wife, daughter and friend who is going through hell. Men grieve as much as we do, but they just show it in a different way. I will pray for your tower of strength - Greg to keep on enduring and for your Amanda to cope as best as she can…She must miss her Sissy so very much…And McKayla’s grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends must also be so very, very, heartbroken…

I have never been the same since my daddy died and don’t think i ever can be, but i can look at other people’s grief and see their pain and hopefully i can understand what they are going through - even just a little bit and maybe make their load a little lighter for them to carry.

I never forget a couple of months after i found out about daddy, a girlfriend rang and i was sobbing as i answered the phone and she said “What’s happened?” Well did i snap! “My father committed suicide! What do you think is the matter with me?” I screamed at her down the phone Moe. Healing from grief takes a very, very long time. Don’t rush yourself or expect too much of yourself as God doesn’t. You lost your child, not your wallet - ease up on yourself sweetheart.

I don’t know you but i love you Moe.

As always, my love, prayers and hugs to you and your family.

Good morning Moe!! Still praying and thinking about ya!!!

Hugs, Lori
Thanks Lori. Went to see KK before heading to work. Gives me strength … at least a little more than I have had the past 9 weeks.

I started getting anxiety when I thought about Christmas … our tradition is to go get our tree the Friday after Thanksgiving … and we put it up on Saturday.

We buy sparkling cider for the girls and Greg and I get Asti Spumanti … and then after decorating it … we watch the Bishops Wife … with Cary Grant.

Sadness just enveloped me … I know I just need to get past these days, never mind worrying about 7 months from now … and then I thought of Halloween … which is big in our family … just makes me desperately sad 😦 that she isn’t with us …

Love Moe and Hugs!

**NOT SURE HOW I COULD LIFT A VEIL OVER MY EYES, NEVER MIND ANYONE ELSE … I AM JUST A WRECK.**A

Please don’t be down on yourself. When depression takes over we see things differently. I have been there and am still there. One thing i regret is that i pushed my baby away in a sense. I was so consumed in my grief that i neglected him emotionally.

OH, MY DAUGHTER AMANDA BRINGS SO MUCH LOVE AND COMFORT TO ME AND GREG. IF ANYTHING WE ARE TOO OVERLY PROTECTIVE NOW … THE POOR THING … IT JUST SO SCARY THINKING – GOD WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO HER … WE WOULD DIE.

I go to Mass every Sunday and have my beautiful book for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament “I The Lord Am With You Always” with me and read my favourite prayers and look like the perfect Catholic mother… kneeling, praying etc… but to be honest i feel like the biggest hypocrite that God has ever had in his Church. I know God loves me and no matter what i say, do, think or feel - he will forgive me.

HAVE YOU SPOKEN TO A GRIEF COUNCILOR? YOU SHOULD IF YOU HAVEN’T … I LOSTED MY DAD TOO AND I WAS DEVASTATED … HE WAS THE BEST FATHER (OTHER THAN GREG) THAT WALKED THIS EARTH … BUT I WAS ABLE TO LIVE AFTER, NOT LIKE NOW.

You hear sad stories every day - but yours touched me in a deep way. I joined CAF and not long after read your post and i was drawn to your grief. In all your pain you still offer to pray for other people - that is a Grace from God too my friend, and don’t you ever forget it! I** TRY TO BE … MY FAMILY IS EVERYTHING TO ME … TO US … WE WERE TOLD WE COULDN’T HAVE CHILDREN … AND NOW … WE LOST 4 OUT OF THE FIVE … THREE BABIES BEFORE 12 WEEKS AND NOW OUR BEAUTIFUL ANGEL KK. I KNOW SHE IS WHITH HER BROTHER’S AND SISTER’S NOW. WE ALL USED TO WONDER WHAT THEY WOULD BE LIKE IF THEY MADE IT … NOW SHE IS WITH THEM… AND IN A WAY , CLOSE TO US THAN EVER BEFORE, JUST NOT PHYSICALLY – BUT IT HURTS WE MISS HER SO MUCH.Men grieve as much as we do, but they just show it in a different way. I will pray for your tower of strength - Greg to keep on enduring and for your Amanda to cope as best as she can…She must miss her Sissy so very much…And McKayla’s grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends must also be so very, very, heartbroken…
**
WE ARE ALL DEVASTATED.

I have never been the same since my daddy died

YOU WILL BE A BETTER PERSON FOR KNOWING HIM AND FOR GOING THROUGH THIS … THAT IS WHAT I BELIEVE. I BELIEVE, AS STRONG AS A FAMILY WE WERE BEFORE THIS ‘HELL’ … WE WILL BE A STRONGER FAMILY, NOT ONLY IN OUR CIRCLE, BUT IN THE COMMUNITY AS WELL … FOR IT IS THE COMMUNITY AND FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT HAVE BEEN THERE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY FOR US. You lost your child, not your wallet - ease up on yourself sweetheart.
**
IT JUST SEEMS LIKE I AM NOT AS FAR OUT OF THE GATE AS EVERYONE ELSE. EVERYONE ELSE CAN LAUGH AND GO TO THE MOVIES AND GO TO DINNER … I LOST MY BABY … I DON’T FEEL LIKE LAUGHING OR BEING AROUND PEOPLE WHO CAN JUST MOVE ON WITH THEIR LIVES … YES THEY SHOULD, BUT RIGHT NOW I CAN’T BE AROUND THAT … I NEED TO GRIEVE FOR MY BABY GIRL**.

I don’t know you but i love you Moe.

**BACK AT YOU  …. I PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR DAD … DON’T LET HIS SUISIDE CONSUME YOU … GOD IS WITH HIM … AND NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD COMMIT SUISIDE … NO ONE … I KNOW NOT EVEN ME … WHICH BELIEVE YOU ME I WANTED TO BE BURIED WITH KK ON FRIDAY – BUT THEN I REALIZED I HAVE MY AMANDA … AND I NEED TO MAKE SURE SHE MAKES IT THROUGH LIFE … AND GET HER INTO HER OWN LIFE …**As always, my love, prayers and hugs to you and your family.

Hugs and kisses and love and prayers back at you.

Moe, I am so, so sad for you… I wish I could say or do something that could make you feel happy again. This is huge suffering God has trusted you to bear. He must love you very much.

I have never endured something as painful as this, but when I feel lost and empty, I imagine myself curling up on God’s lap and sobbing my heart out. I imagine His tenderness and love towards me, and know everything will be ok.
Praying for you and your family.

Dear Moe ❤️

I understand about not wanting to be around the chirpy people… you need time to grieve for your baby, and i am glad that you realise that.

I have the most wonderful counsellor. She is a retired doctor and a beautiful christian. Even though i do not see her on a regular basis anymore, we keep in touch and meet for coffee etc. She rings when daddy’s birthday comes as she warned me that is a ‘danger day’ for me… and she was right. Anniversaries and birthdays are the worst for those left behind. Joan is in touch again as daddy’s 2 yr anniversary is **16 **days away to be exact and 26 days and it is 2 yrs since they found daddy and then 29 Sept is when he had his funeral and was finally allowed to rest after being in a morgue for 3 months.

I am like this because i didn’t see daddy for the last 25 years of his life, didn’t speak for the last 10. I tried Moe, i really did… He rang his cousin and spoke to his cousins wife (my angel aunty) the night he took his own life, was very calm and asked her to give me a message from him… He asked about his grandson, my husband etc (i wrote him letters, sent him photos etc,) and told her to tell me that he loved me and to never forget that BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER and that we would see each other in the next year… (to give me hope) So i know he loved me Moe. He never wanted me to find out, he wanted to keep it from me forever. That’s why my photos and letters were all destroyed before he did it. I had a nightmare early in June 2005 and rang mum crying and told her something had happened to daddy. I wanted to ring the police station where he lived but thought 'If they go visit him, he’ll be upset with me." Should have as even though they were given my name, address etc… it took them 3 months to contact me! I am married and have a new surname but mum & dad never divorced, she still carries his name and is in the phone book - they never tried to contact me and we don’t have a very common surname!) The police** lied **to me. Dad left 6 notes, they told me 2. (Daddy said sorry and thank you to so many people who had been good to him, including the doctors who treated him, and left a note of all his medications, how his arms and legs just didn’t ‘work’ anymore, wanted no funeral - his ashes to be put in the rubbish and his belongings in the bin or to go to charity - so down on himself.) In one email - received not even 12 months ago - ** from the police ****they offered to send me the rope that my father put around his neck? **CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? THAT SENT ME OVER THE EDGE MOE. I was going to get that rope and fly to Western Australia and put that rope around a certain policemans neck. I was sent to a psychologist as i lost it in my doctor’s surgery. I corresponded with the police for over 18 months and they have told so many lies due to their incompetence. The Coroner won’t help me and i need to know what my dad had wrong with him as i am his only child and i have a child… But nobody wants to help me as dad is dead and the Coroner knew how daddy died so they weren’t really bothered… I have become extremely close with daddy’s best friend and his family and they have helped me and i have found out from other people how daddy was so sick and was bed ridden, and lost the use of his arms and legs in the last weeks of his life and told one lady he would not live like that. 😦 The tests they took came up with nothing, and he lost his will to live. Had cancer 5 yrs previously, but they operated and i am not sure if that was the problem again. He was a hard working man, stubborn with lots of pride. Would not let people look after him. Very successful business man, who lost it all, and i mean **we lost ****it all ** house, business etc. he was embarassed of what his life had become. He knew i loved him and had forgiven him years ago.

I have deleted this 4 times and started again. There is **so much **inside me, my heart and soul at the moment that i can’t imagine what you or your insides feel like… but my heart bleeds for you, your pain and the emptiness and numbness that you feel. ❤️

Bless you for praying for me and my dad when you are going through hell. Thank you Moe. ❤️ It must be so hard not to be over protective with Amanda, and allow her to be herself and ‘grow up’ at the same time… I was told that i couldn’t have children too, and am blessed with my Braden, but oh how we yearn for another child in our lives… Braden is growing up too quick and deserves a sibling. You really have been to hell and back sweetheart, losing so many babies. 😦 I don’t know what to say…

God bless and protect you all.

As always

❤️

I WISH WISH I COULD FEEL HIM … BUT I DON’T … I SEE HIM IN ALL THE SUPPORT OF FAMILY, FRIENDS, THE COMMUNITIES … BUT I DON’T FEEL HIM:(

Praying for you and your family.
THANK YOU JULES 😦

Good morning Moe. How are you feeling today? I hope the burden lessons in the days to come.

**Hi Lori:

A full weeks work I did today … even though one day at worked at home because Mandy has a bad cold …

I get really tired though - grieving is tiring … both mentally and physically

I just want her back in my arms :(**

Hugs, Lori

Dear Moe,
I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful memorial you have online to McKayla.
When my mother died suddenly it helped me to put the Pieta as my screen saver and I looked at it every moment to ease my pain.
You remain in my prayers.

Hi Moe:heart:

Thinking of you… Went to confession today and afterwards Braden and i lit some candles for our loved ones and we lit a special one for McKayla and i asked our Heavenly Mother to look after your baby girl, and for you to find some sort of peace…

You said that you don’t feel him - that’s because you are numb and empty. 😦

That 's ok as he feels you, your pain and your anguish.

One day at a time Sweet Jesus… i will pray that for you. ❤️

As always,

❤️

Hello,

I am so sorry for your daughter’s death. I will pray and light a candle for her. I can’t imagine the pain that you and your family are going through. My fiance and I lost his grandmother a year 1/2 ago and it seems like yesturday. The best thing to cope with the pain is to pray, and keep your family close. Family and friends make it better to cope with lost and slowly move on.

My prayers are with you and your family.

😦

Love,

Gladys

Dearest Moe,
Tonight after Mass I will light a candle for McKayla and for your family in coping with this loss. I am praying for you daily. How are you lately?
Love,
Lissa
