Dear Moe,

In my thoughts, heart and prayers.

Sorry if i raved on in my large post, i didn’t realise that i wrote so much… until i posted it… and then i wanted to delete it…but then felt that if i deleted it, you would wonder ‘what’ i deleted… Forgive me if it was all a bit too much… I need to think a bit more before i type *and *speak!

As said, i have no idea what you are going through, but my heart aches for you just the same.

Moe,
I remembered you and your family at Mass today. While I was kneeling at Consecration, my thoughts suddenly turned to you. I will pray that you can come to some type peace with your pain. A friend of mine lost a child years ago. She gave a testimony recently. She said she prayed to God to help her accept her little 's . Although she will never forget her little or the pain she feels about losing her, she said that she has reached a level of peace and acceptance that would’ve been impossible had she not asked God to help her.

Moe, I can imagine that this must be an incredibly hard weekend for you. May God’s comforting arms embrace you.

Mary

I’m also really sorry about your loss. 😦 Praying for you and your family… :gopray2: Lord, God of kindness and mercy, I beg You, please comfort this family. Amen.

Sonja — thank you … we have gone to see her every day … it is more comforting that she is with us only 3 minutes away … doesn’t take the place of her being in our lives though …

Thank you … again, the eucharist brought me to tears … we just miss her but I do have to come to terms and beg God for peace.

You poor dear women, I just ran across this thread and read through the entire thing. How incredibly sad. Your pain is unimaginable. I am so sorry for your loss and will include you and your family in my prayers.

Your daughter is beautiful and the website very lovely.

God Bless you.

Good morning Moe: How are you feeling today? My prayers are strong for your family today!

Our community lost a father of a teen yesterday in a boating accident and they haven’t recovered his body yet. For whatever reason his wife decided to ride in another boat on the way back to the boat launch. Every senseless loss like this brings me closer to God. Oh how I wish it didn’t have to be this way!!!

Dear Moe,

I am glad that McKayla is so close to you… there is a heaven dear heart, life will never be the same for you, but… you have faith and that is what we need in this life to get us through heartaches, even though we will never understand why. Alot of people lose their faith when they lose a child. I know of one Catholic woman who was so angry with God, that she gave up her faith after her toddler died. You have run to your heavenly father, and you have helped me in my continuing grief. Thank you Moe.

Thinking of you every day from across the other side of the world.

As always

I am so sorry … Gosh - there is so much sadness in the world … at times I can’t bear it. God intervened … for the wife …

I wish I felt closer to God. I see him working in this situation, but I feel very far away … I not only miss KK, I miss our Lord’s comfort that I have known forever. I am a wreck!

Dear Moe,

I am glad that McKayla is so close to you…

**We go see her every day … our hearts are just so broken and we are just so lonely for her … as we prayed at her grave tonight … some family who had just buried their lost one next to her … apologized for interferring … and we just said - please go ahead and don’t worry … we must look pretty pathetic to people coming by … we just miss her and the pain is just so hard **

I almost can understand why … we still have our faith … be I personally feel abandoned … we were a family who loved each other … every minute of the day … and we had heaven on earth … and we miss her … my beautiful baby girl - who I prayed for almost 14 years ago … I got her, and now I don’t 😦

You have run to your heavenly father, and you have helped me in my continuing grief. Thank you Moe.

**How could I have done that … I bearly see through my tears … never mind helping anyone else on this earth. I am a pretty pathetic human … all I feel is the pain of losing McKayla … and the pain that we will never be the family we were 9 weeks ago today – the pain is constant - pleae pray for us … especially me - because I am not as far off as the rest of the family … **

Thinking of you every day from across the other side of the world.

Thank you my CAF friends, I am so very sad 😦

As always

I just wanted to share with you that my husbands sister lost her son in a car accident when he was 17 years old.

It has been almost 12 years now and she has shared with me that not one day goes past without her thinking of her son Mike and wondering what he would be like right now in life, where he would work, if he would be married, etc.

I know that in the beginning it was exactly as you describe your feelings and her husband even quit going to Mass for a year… he was just too angry at God… I personally think that is very normal… it takes time… some days went good and other were so bad they didn’t know if they would make it.

Somehow… they did… but I think it is so good you are talking about your feelings, don’t stop talking about it, you have to let it out… how can you not.

My sister in law has had dreams and in those dreams she has talked to Mike and he has told her he is happy, she finds comfort in these dreams.

I can’t even begin to understand what your going through but I know that you need to grieve in any shape or form necessary and without apologies… everyone grieves differently… this is your grief… there is no right or wrong way… please continue to share with us and don’t be afraid to tell us all that is on your heart… whatever you need to say and however long you need to talk… we all are here… we all are praying for you and sending you ((hugs))

God be with you always!

I am so sorry … how tragic … the one thing that gives us comfort was that McKayla died quickly … and she probably had no idea she was dying. God … I pray that is the case. You poor sister.

It has been almost 12 years now and she has shared with me that not one day goes past without her thinking of her son Mike and wondering what he would be like right now in life, where he would work, if he would be married, etc.

I know … I know that that will be us … until our dying day her on earth.

I know that in the beginning it was exactly as you describe your feelings and her husband even quit going to Mass for a year… he was just too angry at God… I personally think that is very normal… it takes time… some days went good and other were so bad they didn’t know if they would make it.

I do not know how I get out of bed in the morning, never mind anything else. Greg is so strong and he feels closer to God now more than ever before – which is grace.

Somehow… they did… but I think it is so good you are talking about your feelings, don’t stop talking about it, you have to let it out… how can you not.

It is nice when people share with you … and let you share with them. It bring the tears needed to get strength … at least until the next wave comes.

My sister in law has had dreams and in those dreams she has talked to Mike and he has told her he is happy, she finds comfort in these dreams.

I want that so badly … I pray for it daily … and so far … nothing.

I can’t even begin to understand what your going through but I know that you need to grieve in any shape or form necessary and without apologies… everyone grieves differently… this is your grief… there is no right or wrong way… please continue to share with us and don’t be afraid to tell us all that is on your heart… whatever you need to say and however long you need to talk… we all are here…
**
The pain is constant … all consuming … just terrible**

we all are praying for you and sending you ((hugs))

Hugs back to you!

God be with you always!

I see him, but I don’t’ feel him  like I used to when I saw my family together; saw my girls become amazing young ladies … I just don’t feel him anymore.
