Hi, I wanted to tell you thank you for sharing McKayla’s story. You’ve been on my mind and in my prayers for several weeks.
I especially want to thank you because you inspired me to take my son to the doctor. He has complained of chest pain off and on for about a year. Well, he’s 8 and kind of a baby so I have been blowing him off. But after his baseball game on Monday he was complaining again and McKayla was on my mind so I decided to take him in. Yesterday, an echocardiogram found that he has a bicuspid(instead of a normal tricuspid) aorta valve with a mild leak. With this knowlege we’ll be able to take the preventitve measures that he’ll need to stay healthy. And he’ll still be able to fulfill his dream of becoming a priest. Words can’t express how grateful I am to you (and perhaps McKayla herself) for nudging me to finally get him checked out.
God bless you! You and your family will always, ALWAYS be in my prayers!

Thanks again Moe. I’ve made an appointment with the cardiologist to talk over his long term prognosis more thoroughly. It seems that now that they know it’s there, it will be watched closely for complications and the valve will likely be replaced or repaired when the doctors deem it necessary.
God bless!
Thank you Lori for sharing this … if KK’s loss brings peace to someone else, we are so happy … we are beside ourselves, that perhaps, our story has given your wonderful Son … life … especially if he wants to be a priest … God is Good!

Hi Moe,
How are you? read what KK’s former school is doing what a wonderful thing. How great is it that Lorik took her son to the doctor because of your sharing your heartache of what happened to KK? I know your grief is so all consuming and you miss her terribly but God brings good out of all sorrow.
You are all in my prayers every day still, I remember you everyday Moe at daily commumion!~

**Thank you Mamawm … if you have children … think of them just disappearing from your life and that is how we feel 24/7 - everyday … 17 weeks (4 months) without touchign her, kissing her, hearing her play the piano - praying with her … it is so very hard!

Please keep those prayers going - I got out of bed again today!**

Hi Moe,
How are you?

**I got out of bed again today 🙂 **

read what KK’s former school is doing what a wonderful thing.

Isn’t it … we are so humbled by all that is happening in our lives - how special KK was that people want to keep her memory alive … it is truly beautiful.

**Yes, he does and he is good. Not sure why it had to be our KK … perhaps one day we will know … but it was a blessing that Lori took her son because of KK … Greg and I are just amazed at this special gift to this special family. I, selfish as it is, just wish it was us … but i am glad it is them. DOes that make sense? **

You are all in my prayers every day still, I remember you everyday Moe at daily commumion!~
**Thank you so much … I truly tribute people as wonderful as you help us tackle another day … not just facing it without her in it - but dealing and feeling the pain 24/7 … it never stops … I dont’ want to feel sad all the time; but sadness is what I feel.

Thank you so much! NORDAR!!!

Love and Prayers, Moe**

18 weeks today - woke up at 3:30 - balling my eyes out … had to go down stairs so as not to wake anyone … cried for two hours straight … the pain is unbearable at times 😦

I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. Please remember you are never alone. We are surrounding you in prayer. I pray that our Lord, and Mary will comfort you. Mary is one of the few who knows your pain.

Sincerely,

Maria1212
